Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great size, not great weather protection I carried this in my pack all summer and never got rained on. Last week I went for a short walk in the park under mild rain conditions. After 45 minuets my shoulders of my base layer were damp and my core was cold. I was stoked how small this packs up (the size of a bagel) but I'm feeling lucky I never needed it in the backcountry this year. OR gear is usually fantastic but this was really disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for keeping the rain and wind out so far. I bought this for outdoor recess and so far it works wonderfully.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product Lightweight, easy to bring with you. Colour is great, no issues with the functionality of the product. Windproof, waterproof, works perfectly!! Size was awkward - I usually fit XS, but when it arrived, the length of the actual coat was very short, although the remainder of the coat fit my torso. If I lifted my arms, it exposed my abdomen, which is obviously not ideal. The small size was better in the length, but loose around the chest. No perfect fit for me unfortunately, but better than the XS. Also the coat is designed to fit into the side pocket, but it is a bit too tight of a fit so it doesn't close well, no matter how many times I try. This is obvious especially compared to the Helium pants, which fit into the pocket perfectly. These are minor issues, however, and I love the coat for it's purpose!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SO Versatile super lightweight "what if the weather_" jacket This jacket is so lightweight that you can throw it in any backpack for any outdoor adventure... If it gets windy, rainy, even snowy (assuming you have enough layers for underneath), or if you're going to fast on a biking descent that the breeze bites you- this jacket is perfect for wind-breaker/ rain jacket/ top shell layer! It's the perfect jacket even for a kind of cold golf round.... I wear it biking, hiking, camping, out to the car if it's pouring... it's non-exsitent in my backpack as it's SO light if the weather is questionable. This jacket ROCKS. It covers so many different weather scenarios. . .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and awesome I read every review before buying this jacket and everyone said it was the best. Turns out it lives up to expectations. It's not going to stand up to a hurricane but it'll get you through most things and it's incredibly light weight and comfortable. Would recommend sizing up for layering. I usually wear a small (5'6 - 130 lbs) and that's what I ordered at first, had to size up because my puffy was longer than the small and hung out of the bottom of the rain jacket. The medium doesn't swamp me, still looks stylish and the extra room is more comfortable. The ultraviolet color is original and not too intense or too pink.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needed a second one.... This is my second Helium Jacket because the first one has been wrung through the wringer. I love this jacket. After the get used hiking and backpacking, they get retired out to pasture for my farmwork. I just wish it had pit zips and that it was a little longer. I am 5' 9" 140 lbs, ordered a medium to fit over my ultralight down jacket and it barely makes it. I wish it was longer! Just one inch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket! I bought this jacket because I wanted something that was water and wind proof, but was still breathable and packed small. Im a fast hiker/ trailrunner, and my north face gortex jacket was leaving me soaked in sweat inside, and freezing by the time I was in the alpine. I've owned this jacket for a month now and it's already weathered a few flash storms in the coastal and rocky mountain alpine, keeping me dry and protected from the wind. It even fit inside my vest during a high elevation trail race! It's nice to throw it in my summit bag for scrambling as well. I'm 5'10 and normally have issues buying woman's fit jackets, either the sleeves are too short, or the body fits like a garbage bag... I bought the medium and it fit perfectly!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Lightweight Rain Coat! This jacket was tested in the Pyrenees last week in a very heavy rain and strong wind storm (paired with the Helium pants). It breathed very well. My only gripe is that there is no way to cinch the hood around your face, so water worked it's way down my chest. Not a big deal, but I wouldn't rely on this jacket in extreme cold. Fantastic for summer / shoulder season rain storms, however. And as far as I know the lightest, truly waterproof jacket out there. Durability remains to be seen - I'll let you know after a second season of wear!
