Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like these pants So I bought these pants last year and loved them so much I bought another pair at the beginning of this year's field season, just in case the first pair began to wear out. My only complaint is that I bought the exact same size only they feel a bit smaller than the original pair I own. Not sure why that would be but the butt and thighs are a wee bit tighter. Fortunately they are stretchy enough that I still wear them, but they aren't as comfortable as my first pair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't fit well I was a bit disappointed that the pants didn't fit well. The size fit a bit small, mostly in the waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these Love these pants. Thought I wanted the versatility of the shorts/long option and still might use them. Love the weight, comfort and pocket options of these pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these pants I bought these to replace a pair with too many holes. It was a great decision. As a short person who shops in the petite section, they are a bit long (but okay with boots on) and sometimes I miss the drawstring on my old pair that would hold up the edges, but I am an even bigger fan of the ankle zips that allow me to get the lower legs off over my boots in hot weather. Great pants, they dry quickly, material is a step up from my old pants. Only real complaint is that the zip pocket on the side is too small for my phone (Nexus 5X). I purchased a size 6 (5'4" 130lbs) and it fits very well. A little looser around the waist/hips but I have a bit of a "pear shape" so that's pretty typical for clothes on me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent hiking pants! These pants are one of the best purchases I have ever made. They are extremely comfortable, breathable, and durable despite punishing fieldwork. The zip-off legs are a necessity where I work, and it's always easy matching up the legs thanks to the different colored zippers. Plus, the legs slip off easily over bulky hiking boots. I stayed dry despite bushwhacking through wet vegetation and the material dried quickly. I will be buying additional pairs. Quick note: I bought these pants in size 6 (5'5", 115 lbs). The butt fits well, but the waist seems a little too big and I need a webbing belt to keep the pants up. However, I think it might be too tight in the butt if I sized down... so just FYI in case you're debating which size to get!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sizing help I was between sizes on the size chart for these pants. I am 5'4" and 145 lbs. with a 31 inch waist and 39 inch hips. Based on the size chart, I ordered a 12 and should have gone with a 10. I'm planning to wear the pants for kayaking so did not want them to bind while sitting for long periods of time. Size 12 will definitely not bind and I need a belt to keep them up. They are also plenty long -- I would say a 33 or 34 inch inseam. Due to the helpful zipper at the lower leg, they would not be easy to hem. They seem very well made as has been my experience with OR stuff. Looking forward to using them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite ladies hiking pants ever! I have been searching high and low for the perfect ladies hiking pants for a very long time and I finally found them! The Outdoor Research Women's Equinox Convert Pants are super comfortable, soft, and technically perfect in every way. The fabric has great stretch to move with me both on and off the trail. There are plenty of pockets (yes, and they are even deep enough!) to hold my iPhone and lip balm etc. I also appreciate the snap and zip fly and belt loops. All I can say is that it is about time that someone has designed a hiking pant for women that is equally as technical and design with great features and comfort as the men's. Thank you so much Outdoor Research! These are the best ever!

Measuring Guide & Fit Styles

OUTDOOR RESEARCH MEASURING GUIDE
To get the most accurate measurement, use a flexible measuring tape and use the measuring guide info below.

• CHEST / BUST - measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest.

• WAIST - measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.

• HIPS - measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.

• INSEAM - choose a pair of pants that fits you well and is true to size, hitting at the top of the foot. Measure the inseam from crotch seam to the bottom of the hem.

• GLOVES - for the circumference measure around a flat hand at the knuckles, but do NOT include the thumb. For the hand length measure your hand from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your OR glove size.

• HATS - measure around your head where the headwear would be expected to fit comfortably.
