Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dope pants!!! Ahhmazing pants for skiing. Bought a pair last year (lemongrass) and found that they show the lift dirt pretty well. Bought another pair this year (black) with the thought that it wouldn't. Breathable, solid zippers and makes my butt look better than a mirror. Buy a pair and check it out for yourself ;o)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you only own one pair of ski pants... These are them! I ski 40+ days and these are my goto pants! They allow total freedom of movement and keep you dry all day even on the heaviest of snow days. Don't let the price keep you away - they are worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving these pants I finally got to use these this weekend. Dumping wet snow and blowing and these pants kept me dry. They are great shell pant with all the right pockets and vents. The cut is perfect length so they are not baggy. Can't wait to tour with these as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for spring Well made loads of venting zips but these pants are not warm, they are cut with a low rise at the back, and that doesn't keep the kidney area warm. The fleece lining is a good idea but it's too thin and ineffective. I'll wear these in the spring but I've had to purchase some Eider Bormio pants to keep me warm for Dec/Jan/ Feb.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had high hopes for this pant. I had high hopes for these pants but find myself being disappointed at this price point. Bought them for Christmas and have less than 1 month in them. I have used the Vanguard pants and jacket combo for a couple years and absolutely love them. When these White Room pants came out in the lemongrass color, I was excited to give my all black combo a bright and stylish upgrade. PROS: These pants are pretty much a somewhat slimmer fitting version of the oversized Vanguards which is cool with me since not everyone wants to swim in the relaxed fit. The color of the White Room pants look great against my black jacket. These pants are a highly waterproof shell only. CONS: Gore-tex does its job but the soft and light colored fabric picks up dirt and stains VERY easily. I find I have to wash them in Nikwax Tech Wash after 1 or two days on the lifts. A few spots won't come out. The fabric is very easy to rip and the pants are getting beat up at the back of the boots. The added boot protector material is only for the insides and stops short of the back and that is where I see the most damage. (That happened after just 1 day at Whistler. and probably happened while sitting in the bar since my chair was hitting the back of the boots.) The bigger exposed zippers on the pockets are a change from the Vanguards but a few of the the teeth of the zippers have already broken off. I find it disappointing to lose teeth from just zipping and unzipping. Overall, they look really good and are a great pop of color. They move great with the 3 layer soft Gore-Tex. They are very waterproof. BUT... they are maintenance heavy with more than average cleanings needed. (Tech Wash is expensive!) A little too light to be truly rugged and will probably not last the test of time. Zippers need looking into. Oh well, atleast they have an infinite guarantee, but I doubt they will have this style around much longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for I've skied a good number of days in these pants this season, backcountry and on resort. Though they do lack insulation, they serve their purpose and more as a shell pant. This 3L GORETEX pants does exactly what it is supposed to do. It breathes and it's fully waterproof. I've worn these pants while skinning with a 50b pack, and I've worn them with nothing on my back, skiing powder on resort, while it was dumping snow. Never once did moisture pass from the outside to the inside. To make this pant even more efficient and desirable, it has not only one set of inner-thigh vents, but they also have to large outer thigh vents that really allow excess heat to escape from inside the pant during high aerobic activity. They have a RECCO reflector, two from pockets, a utility pocket above the knee, and one rear pocket, all with fully waterproof zippers. I highly recommend these pants to anyone who wants a pant they can trust, in good weather and bad. GORETEX once again proves to be the best of the best. Thank you OR and GORETEX for producing a killer product that I will have for years to come. Make the investment. It's worth it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not your Normal 3L Gore-Tex Meaning, these are far from waterproof. Fit is great, features are great, but you won't stay dry even on a damp day. 29 degrees and snowing at Mt. Baker, just sitting on the lift had me soaked by noon. Probably OK for spring, but I spent the coin for waterproof pants and these aren't it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great all round ski pants These pants rock. Waterproof with good vents. Good pockets as well. The material has been durable so far with little to no signs of wear. I wish the outer leg vent went down another couple inches but it's no big deal. One thing I find annoying is that the top pockets both zip in to close while the lower leg pocket zips out to close, makes me think I'm leaving it unzipped when I glance down. All pockets should zip the same direction. I got the XL as I'm 6' 4" but the waist is definitely big. Maybe a Tall option?
