Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Jacket After trying numerous other down mid-layers, I decided to try try the transcendent down sweater and I'm glad I did. I'm using this as a mid-layer under a hard shell. With the two combined, it was exactly what I was looking for. It is incredibly warm without being bulky. It packs down to about the size of a brick, yet light as a feather. When worn by itself, it has handled the sub-zero temps of a MN winter perfectly. It is a great product and I couldn't be happier with it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great All Around Down Sweater Overall the fit works great for me. The design of the collar is great, it tucks right against the neck, sealing the warmth in. The cordlock on the hem works to seal in the warmth as well. I like the longer length of this compared to my Arcteryx down jacket. The only negative thing I would like to see changed is more of a tapered sleeve design. I find the sleeve too bulky near the cuffs. As well as the elastic cuffs is too big. Whats the point of elastic cuffs when its too big to begin with? You can even see in the model pictures that the cuffs are even too big for him. If it wasnt for the two issues I listed above, I would rate this 5/5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, light weight and comfortable This was a gift for my husband, he is an avid outdoorsmen, rockclimbing, iceclimbing, snowboarding, backcountry camping, he also works outside. He wanted a warm layer he could easily fit under a jacket, or fit a sweater underneath. He has been was wearing this jacket with a couple layers underneath it, and also with a heavy sweatshirt over top, it has been -20 to -30 Celsius this week, I was impressed how warm it was keeping him! It fits well under and over other garmets, which is also why he prefers this jacket without the hood. He loves that it is light and folds into its own pouch this will come in handy for backcountry hiking. He plans to use it for snowboarding under a shell. Its lightweight, warm and easily to maneuver in!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love the look, just doesn't fit right, disappointed The arm holes are too small for me, the distance between the shoulder and the arm pit is too small and is consistently rubbing my arm pits. Very disappointed because I love the look of the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for travelling I live in the Inland Northwest during school breaks and this winter has gotten off to a rough start for sure. As it turns out I accidentally left all of my winter jackets in California so I have been using (and will continue to use) this jacket exclusively for the season. I absolutely love it!
