Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice jacket! So I have been lusting over a down puffy hooded type jacket for like a year and finally decided to get one. I own a REI Revelcloud which I love but I wanted a hood and something a bit warmer and this jacket fit the bill. I ordered a size largem I am 6'1 and 170 lbs with long arms and this jacket fit great. Often I have to get XL shirts and jackets due to sleeves being a bit short on larges but this jacket fit perfect. The hood also is great, with the two differnet adjustments you can get it to be both snug and out of your eyes. This jacket is seriously warm, seems twice as warm as my Revelcloud. I got the Glacier Blue which is quite bright, it almost looks like a anodized blue color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket; warm to ~35F and lightweight, but sheds a lot! 5'8", 155lbs, athletically built. Small fits well, but it's snug / built for skinny frames. Owned the jacket ~1 month and found it to be sufficient from 35-65F. Keeps me warm walking around for an hour in ~35F temperatures. More than an hour outside in <40F (not doing anything athletic), I recommend an extra thermal layer. Definitely needed a fleece in the 20's.,, ,,Hood provides a shocking amount of warmth, so I highly recommend this jacket over a non-hooded version. Biggest annoyance is that it sheds a lot of feathers. Areas near inner elbows have lost some heft and are not as thick as the chest area (only 1 month later!) but I'm still mostly warm. Great deal @ $135; not above $165.,,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a great down jacket in some ways and lacking in some others. I've had it for about 2 years. It's very soft, warm, and can compact well as down garments tend to do. The fit is semi-athletic and works well for layering. There are two large inside pocket sleeves which are really nice for stashing your gloves, or an extra pair while you're on the move.,,,,It's not really considered lightweight anymore for the warmth it offers. I've downgraded this jacket to just using around town/or single pitch days where I'm not too concerned about gram counting. Anything less than a good amount of 750/800 fill down and you may as well be wearing a nice fleece in my opinion since you don't need to about getting it wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WARM FLIPPIN JACKET! Let me say this... This is my second down jacket, and this hass less fill in it, and its awesome! I have the Diablo XL and its awesome. The Diablo is pretty orange, so if you are looking for a more Redish one this might not be for you. I am 6'2 230 and the XL fits great. The Large would be a little snug. First OR jacket, but I really like it. Only thing I wish it had was that it had a stow pocket. It packs down super small, it just dosnt have anything to stuff into. Oterwise, no other complaints!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not warm enough I wanted to purchase a down for really cold days (10-30F), but this jacket was not warm enough. There is not as much down as some of ORs other down jackets. This jacket does not fit into my collection. At this level of warmth I'd rather go with something synthetic or a good wool/fleece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit for tall people with long arms I typically have a hard problem finding jackets that have long enough selves because of my long arms. this jacket however fits my long arms very well without having a baggy fit around the midsection. I'm 6'2 and pretty thin. I ordered a large and the fit is great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good Bought this jacket with the intent of being my go-to jacket in winter. I'll readily admit this is my first winter since living in SoCal for the past 5 years so my ability to handle inclement weather has severely been hampered, but I was still a little disappointed in the need for a mid layer (fleece, vest, sweater) when temps dropped much below 30. For running into the store, sure it's fine, but for extended periods I needed a little extra. This thing does do a great job of blocking out the wind though. Zipped all the way up and the hood cinched this thing blocks the wind nicely. Regarding size; I am plagued by being stuck between medium and large (6' 185lbs, 32" waist). Not wanting to be restricted in the shoulders (like many Medium jackets I have), I went for the large. Fits great in the shoulders but a little loose for my taste in the mid section. Luckily it doesn't LOOK loose, so I decided to keep it so I could layer more comfortably. Time will tell if this stays my "casual" winter jacket or becomes part of my backpacking kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Belay Hoodie!!! I like to ice climb, a lot. When I'm on the ground resting my arms after a long 70ft climb I like to shield myself from the elements with this wonderful hoody. I'm 5'11" and 170 athletic build and I bought a medium. Fits perfect under my softshell/shell. It weighs nearly nothing and yet it keeps me warm for hours while I'm at Peabody Ice Tower (Fenton, Mi). I've had this down for over a year and it looks just the same as when I got it. Outdoor Research (and Moosejaw), You Rock!
