Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these gloves. These are my daily ski gloves, they handle NW conditions fine and the grip on my poles is great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent gloves Got these for rough outdoor jobs in cold weather. They're definitely tough: last weekend I used them to grab (literally) a squirrel out of my fireplace. He bit pretty hard, but did not puncture the leather. My main complaint with these gloves is the long/high wrist cuffs. I wear a watch and the hook and loop closure on the cuffs can't close over it. No watch, no problem. Also, they're not as warm as I had hoped. The quality is great and they are definitely well made.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent work glove - if dry conditions Great work/patroller glove for 32F and above and dry conditions. If it gets wet, though, it's pretty uncomfortable and annoying honestly. If you use this glove, have a more water proof option as a backup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sizing Different companies have different sizes. I purchased an 8 in these gloves, as that is the size of glove I wear from every other glove maker, and they fit like a 9. Minus the fact they're too big (an 8 in OR is a 9 in Hestra, for reference), they're great gloves. I'll be returning to get the correct size. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good gloves Good looking glove. Warm, but not as thick as it looks. I got a size L and it fits true. Fairly durable so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good I was looking for a glove that doubled both to walk dogs and ski when not too cold: somewhat resistant to dog hair, and downhill skiing ~ 20F. This works for both. It is not super windproof. It was usable but cold at 20F with gusts to 50mph. Like the others said, runs small. L is ok for me while Medium in Gripper fit right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from solid work glove I used them for work every day on mountain last ski season and I am buying a new pair this year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice! But not if you have big hands. The gloves are quite nice. They have very nice color, and brown goatskin gloves are RARE, Let alone insulated. The suede is slightly darker than the goatskin on mine. Goatskin is one of the most resilient leathers-- it won't dent, scratch, or abrade like cowhide/deerskin.,,,,However, I would only recommend these if you have smaller to moderately sized hands. I am 5'11", about 180 lbs and my hands are pretty medium sized-- perhaps on the slenderer side, I suppose. ,,,,I went with a large sized glove just to be safe-- my hand measurement is right on the line at like 9 inches. The finger length on these is perfect, and for the most part they feel great. However, the gloves are actually quite tight at the thumb knuckle. I expect them to loosen up, but if your hands are any larger than that, I don't think it would be very pleasant trying to get them on. However, if after reading all this you think they'll fit, I recommend buying them. They're the nicest gloves I've ever tried on, and so warm!,,,,

Measuring Guide & Fit Styles

OUTDOOR RESEARCH MEASURING GUIDE
To get the most accurate measurement, use a flexible measuring tape and use the measuring guide info below.

• CHEST / BUST - measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest.

• WAIST - measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.

• HIPS - measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.

• INSEAM - choose a pair of pants that fits you well and is true to size, hitting at the top of the foot. Measure the inseam from crotch seam to the bottom of the hem.

• GLOVES - for the circumference measure around a flat hand at the knuckles, but do NOT include the thumb. For the hand length measure your hand from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your OR glove size.

• HATS - measure around your head where the headwear would be expected to fit comfortably.
