Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good sleeping pad, very poor air vent. I have owned several camping pads and purchased the anemone tensor 20R due to its stated light weight and insulation. On the plus side, the pad is extremely light and packable, the fabric is quiet when sleeping and provides good insulation down to -5 C / 20 F. On the down side the air vent on this pad is TERRIBLE! From the initial use the vent has leaked very slowly. This fault creates the belief that the pad is properly inflated, yet the pressure leaves out over the course of around 3-4 hours. On the pad's inaugural 8 day mountaineering / backpacking trip this flaw resulted in needing to inflate the pad several times per night. Great pad design but really poor air vent gives this product a "Do not buy" rating. Attempted to seek a replacement from the vendor where the pad was purchased and was told that "All sleeping pads loose pressure slowly over time" and would not offer a replacement. Overall very disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings I bought this pad a little over a year ago. It has seen somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-40 nights actually in use. After using it, I have mixed thoughts. First, the good: it is every bit as light and compact as advertised. It weighs less than a pound and packs down small enough it could fit inside a 1ltr Nalgene. And yet it is still very comfortable. As a side sleeper, this pad kept me off the ground and comfortable. Until recently that is. Which brings me to the bad: after only a handful of uses, the valve became very hard to operate. It was hard, but still functioned so I kept using the pad. Then, a couple of weeks ago, it started leaking air. I woke up in the middle of the night on the ground, the pad having lost air. I took it out again this weekend, along with the repair kit it comes with, hoping to patch the leak and keep using it. Unfortunately I can't tell where it is leaking from so I wake up about every 1-2 hours and put a few breaths into it so I can go back to sleep. And at this point, the valve is very hard to use (maybe the leak is around the valve?). All in all, it is a great, lightweight, small pad that is very comfortable for us side sleepers; however, I feel like at this price point the durability should be such that it lasts longer than a couple of seasons. Fix that and this sleeping pad would be a hands down 5 star review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Packable I love this sleeping pad. I've used it in 90F weather in Florida to get me of the ground and didn't get too warm (it was Florida though so still hot) and I've used it in 32F weather in Minnesota with only a sleeping bag liner as my blanket and wasn't too cold. I think the 20R was a little narrow for me but definitely long enough with me being 5'7". Overall it's been a great sleeping pad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and super comfortable! I'm so glad we bought these, going for lightweight and comfort and the Tensor 20r pad is super light and pack-able. I've heard other pads like this can be noisy and wobbly-the Tensor isn't really noisy and the way it is designed keeps it stable. I'm a side sleeper and I've slept so good on this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luxury pad for the weight! I used this pad on my PCT thru hike and I loved it!! I am 5'2 so this pad was very spacious with about a foot of extra leg space. I could've made due with a 3/4 length pad but having this pad was a luxury. It weighs about the same as the z-lite foam pad with about double the comfort! Completely worth it and just as comfortable as the therm-a-rest that I used on the AT two years ago. Toward the end of my hike, I did get a microtear which was likely due to me being less careful of where I put it at night. Either way, I was able to patch it up and continue using it for the rest of the hike. Was very impressed with how this pad performed!
