Seems sturdyHave not used in the field yet but have set up with the tent as a dry run. Fit well, seems durable, and pretty light weight. Had considered making a homemade footprint out of tyvek but got this on sale and I'm glad I did.

Protects bottomHaven’t used it yet, but it looks ok and arrived quickly. 4 not 5 stars as my lame protest against this kind of thing that manufacturers make that seem imperative, and so why not make the bottom of the tent strong enough to not need one of these things?
But, I suppose, it allows the manufacturer to make a few more bucks on a piece of equipment that you feel impelled to get or else your bottom will go protected

Would recommend for harsh environmentsI would only recommend this product if you are in areas that are really rocky or harsh ground conditions. also comes in handy if you in a Pine forest and dont want to get sap all over the bottom of your tent.
once you attach it to your tent you dont have to really remove it, you can just pack it up still attached.
the only problem we had with this was that the Clips kept coming undone.
