Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket if you can get a good deal Things I like: This jacket is remarkably lightweight for a 3-layer hardshell, and it's kept me warm (but not sweaty) and dry just as advertised on several hikes and mountain peaks in the months that I've had it. It's soft, not clammy, on the inside, and soft, not plasticy, on the outside. The pockets are huge and roomy and easy to access while wearing a harness and/or a pack with a hipbelt. The hood is fairly easy to adjust and can be made to fit decently whether or not I'm wearing a helmet. Fairly flattering, unlike many shell jackets I've worn. ,,,,Things I don't like: Waterproof zipper feels a bit clunky -- hard to zip up one-handed, kind of sticky. Keeps the water out tho, so hey. Size small fits me well (over baselayer + mid-layer + sweater-weight puffy as needed -- 5'4", 130lbs) everywhere except the hips, where it's a bit tight, so if you have wider hips like me, keep that in mind and consider sizing up. Expensive! Got a small puncture while glissading (easy to repair).
