Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and comfortable sizing generous Used a month+. Great jacket. very light and packs down small main reason I purchased. I have REI synthetic, and NF Thermoball; this one is slightly lighter. The pockets are 50% larger and Nitrous has a great breast pocket the other 2 do not.(another reason I purchased) The sleeves cover my monkey arms even when reaching out for a banana and jacket length covers about 3/4's of as_ so no plumbers butt. I normally wear Large but this jacket is generous around middle; shoulders good and across back not tight. I can wear base layer, sweater and then this jacket with comfort no snug feeling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super warm! I'm 6'-0" 185lbs and it fits well - even a little more room than I expect from a Medium. This thing is VERY warm and lightweight. It sort of boggles the mind that something so thin and light can keep me warm down around 15 degrees easily. Only had it a couple of weeks so I'm not too sure on the durability yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product, color was a little funky! Wanted to like the product . . . well made, nice pockets but couldn't get past the blue color!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket - Long Sleeves Really like this jacket for cool mornings. Will make a good layer under a shell in colder temperatures. Mountain Hardware runs small on me in the chest, but the sleeves run 2" to 3" longer than most other jacket companies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Noah Baby. Recently purchased this down jacket and was a bit hesistant getting it in blue, but boy am I glad I did. Color and fit are awesome and definitely provides enough warmth to bake some cookies in there. I'd give it 3 thumbs up if I had an extra thumb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crazy Warm Super warm and lite. Looking forward to a real winter if it would ever make it to DC. Thought it might fit a little better. I am 5'9" and a small should be perfect to a touch small. It is slightly loose in the trunk and the arms are a touch long. But should be good to layer underneath.

I haven't purchased a new winter coat in a few years and am missing the temperature rating. Is there a chart that equates down fill to temperature? Will this keep me warm in a 0 degree F Minnesota winter?

Asked by: Benjamin
Hiya Benjamin, thanks for your question! Most jackets do not have temperature ratings. Warmth is a subjective thing, unique to each person and there are many variables that can affect a jacket's warmth, like wind, humidity, activity level and what else you are wearing. The number of down fill (800) is associated with the quality of the down and the plume to father ration, not how much is filling it or how warm it is. That being said, this jacket is very lightweight and a good option for active winter wear. In 0 degree weather, you would need to properly layer underneath it to stay warm... which as a Minnesotan, you are probably familiar with layering. ;) Hope this helps!
