Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super soft and warm (but a little awkward at times) I bought this to replace my circa 2004 original Monkey Man jacket. And while this new one is thinner and just as warm, I found a few differences that make me still love the old one just a little more. The new cut sits well below the belt, causing some awkward bunching in the middle where awkward bunching never belongs (in comparison, the old MM jacket ended just at the belt and never bunched). Also, the new jacket has slimmer cut sleeves, which works really well with t-shirts but makes getting the jacket on (and off) with longer sleeves a chore. Seriously, these sleeve stick to you! All in all, however, this is a great jacket. Lots of mobility, lightweight warmth, and a great look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly perfect! This is probably the closest to perfect a fleece jacket can be. The fit is great (I am 6' 175 and the large fits spot on), the styling is also nice (my wife actually likes it enough that she wants one too), and the comfort is great as well. It is a perfect mid-layer for really cold upstate New York winters and can be a stand alone in the shoulder seasons. It seems to have a good active fit and doesn't scrunch up when you move around and even the breath-ability is top-notch. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket for physical activity. I have had the product for just over a month and I have definitely put it through its paces. ,,,,The Fit ,,-Has a very nice athletic fit so it's snug in all the right places and allows movement where you need it. ,,,,-Stays close to your body making it easily fit under your outer shell if you need one.,,,,The Feel and Durabillity,,-The use of Polartec does not go unnoticed. It feels incredibly soft so expect to have a lot of people petting you.,,,,-The grid pattern makes it feel more durable but I can't say for sure if that is the case,,,,-It's been through the wash (using Nikwax) about 3 times and it looks as good as new.,,,,-I have been climbing at RRG several times with this jacket and it is perfect for the needed range of motion and durability.,,,,The Looks,,-I have gotten more compliments on this jacket than any other fleece I have ever gotten.,,,,-The grid pattern gives it a unique look and I feel just as comfortable wearing this around town as i do on a wall.
