Product Description Item No.   10254492

The Mountain Hardwear Men's Compressor Pant is an insulated hiking pant for cold weather backcountry adventures. The Compressor is packed with 80 grams of Thermal.Q Elite insulation, boosting your lower half with cozy warmth. The synthetic insulation is high on warmth and low on weight, coming in at one pound, two ounces. Just like the name says, it compresses down small so you can jam them into your pack for when the temperature drops. The reinforced knees and seat protects against abrasion, but let's try and stay on our feet instead of sliding down a mountain on your butt.

FEATURES of the Mountain Hardwear Men's Compressor Pant

  • Thermal.Q Elite mimics the structure of down to create the highest warmth to weight ratio available in synthetic insulation
  • Adjustable elastic waist with attached webbing belt
  • Reinforced seat and knees protect against abrasion
  • Full side-zippered legs for ventilation and quick changes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Pants, Great Price, Love full side zips I have been backpacking the AT and have done Springer to Hot Springs so far and the weather has been COLD and miserable. These pants help a lot around camp. Great price and super fast shipping (arrived several days earlier than I expected).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from durable, comfortable, and light This pair of pants saved my butt the last snowcamping trip I went on. Temperatures ranged between the 30s during the day and the low single digits at night, and these pants were perfect. They pack well, their outer shell is tough and surprisingly water repellent for not being "waterproof", and the full side zips mean you have great ventilation when you're moving, and great insulation the moment you stop and zip up. I'm tempted to buy a second just so I have a backup in case they go out of stock.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light, warm, dry Light, warm, packable... fit is robust. I'm 33x34 normally, and got a L. They fit great over all my base and shell bottoms, but wish they had a long version. Would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I bought these puffy paints to fit over my mountaineering paints for when it gets really cold in those down time. The fit and features are excellent

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid cold weather protection I bought these for a trip to Antarctica where I would need some warmth in between high output activities. They did a fine job keeping me warm in the below zero temps. The scuff protection on the seat and knees offered some peace of mind concerning protecting the remaining fabric and stitching that seems vulnerable to wear and fraying. Loved the side zips of getting in and out but would like to see some scuff protection on the inside ankle area -not crampon protection per se, but wear protection against boot eyelet snags and outter fabric scuffing. Good warmth. I went Medium for my 33/34 jean size, and would go large if I wanted to pull them over bulker pants for additional warmth when stopping or standing. Overall a solid product for the money.
