Rated 2 out of 5 by from Go with Sterling's Chain Reactor or a Purcell Picked one of these up because I know people who use them and love them. It works, and it's safer than a daisy, but even the new 22kn one won't handle anything over a factor 1.25ish fall in drop tests. I found out about the Sterling Chain Reactor, which is all nylon and can handle several factor 2 falls, two days after I bought my PAS. D'oh! Anyways, I've found that while this thing is convenient, it still doesn't beat a Purcell prusik.,,,,Bottom line: if you want a chain-style anchor system, go with the Sterling. Even better, get yourself some 7mm cord and make yourself a purcell prusik anchor (!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Like Turtles! I bought the black/green one a couple months ago and couldn't be happier with it! I use it all the time and it's very versatile for any anchoring and safety needs. I use mine to hang from every time I am playing with my prusiks. I ascend up to the top of the wall, clip this in for safety, swap my prusiks for my ATC, unclip it and ascend down. Definitely the best PAS chain out there!,,Andy,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get rid of your nylon slings Got this bad boy to replace the nylon slings I was using. Holy crap, what a difference. For one, having 1 piece to act as a PAS is way more convenient than 2 slings, so there's less fumbling. Also, the color coding on the end runner just makes for easy identification in the moment.,,And even though you're not really supposed to, all those extra runners in between your anchor and harness just act as great storage when you're hanging out at the belay forever.,,And finally, the extra length makes it so easy and simple to extend your belay/rappel if guiding and/or setting up an auto-block.,,One thing to note however, is that because this is made primarily of dyneema, you need to be extra careful that there isn't undue soft-on-soft friction, either from your rope or the contact point on your harness, since it is more vulnerable than nylon.,,All in all, I'm so glad I made the switch. A definite upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative to slings My climbing partner kept talking about how great this is and finally talked me into buying one. It's so much more convenient than slings! No more messing around with them when they are wrong length. Just pick the loop that works and clip in to the anchor point with a locker. I use the second locker to clip to another point for redundancy. Can't get any easier than that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile product This daisy chain is great for using as a personal anchor and for ascending. I use it to anchor in to the top of climbs and it makes me feel significantly safer. It is incredibly strong and I am hoping that it will last me a long time. It has done a fantastic job so far. I also use it with a prusik and carabiner to ascend with. It is the perfect length for my height and the large loop fits my foot just fine. It is light weight and multi-purpose. Plus, it is blue :)*

Rated 5 out of 5 by from secure self to any anchor or belay chains. adjust length with loops. Excellent lightweight system to tie into anchor or belay station or to make your own fatass a anchor while belaying your partner. Sewn and solid. A bargain at the price - save tying in with ratty slings and/or dynacord tied with dumb looking fisherman knots. Buy this. you wont be sorry. GIRTH HITCH TO MASTER TIE IN AND LOOP UNDER LEG WITH LOCKER< REACH AROUND AND GRAB WHEN NEEDED!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than a daisy. Reliable and effective. This thing makes it fast and easy to equalize 2 anchors, and it's way stronger than a daisy chain for anchoring off at the top of a route. Be a little cautious not to shock-load it, since it's dyneema and not nylon and therefore won't stretch even a little. I haven't heard of any reports of it failing under shock load, but it's best to be safe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I prefer other personal anchoring methods I have used this anchor system a lot since I got it for free. When I climb I usually have to run it between my legs and clip it to the back of my harness, which sucks when I have to set up an anchor to clean the route I just climbed. Depending on how far below my anchor I am I dislike having to move my carabiners to different loops.
