The Marmot Women's Sugar Loaf Component Jacket is a 3-in-1 jacket to prepare you for all types of winter weather. The Sugar Loaf Component comes with an outer shell and inner liner, so you can wear each separately or combine them for an ultimate cold, wet weather beater. The outer shell is of 2-layer construction, with Marmot MemBrain waterproof and breathable fabric to protection you from the wet stuff, be it rain, snow or sleet. Removable hood and powder skirt allow you to customize for the mountain or the town and adjust depending on what Mother Nature has thrown at the land. All pockets will zipper shut to protect small goods, you'll find standard hand pockets with cozy interior, 2 chest pockets (internal and external), and a sleeve pocket where I typically store my lip balm but where you can certainly store a hanky. The liner jacket was built to boost the warmth, as it's been packed with Thermal R insulation to trap warmth. The 100% polyester ripstop fabric slides easily into the outer jacket, or when worn alone the durable water repellent finish will repel a light rain or snow, just not a deluge or winter storm. Certainly capable of taking on mild winter days and hopping from car to store.
So sorry, but only 4 items are allowed for comparison, so we're comparing the first 4. I blame the gnomes and so should you.
