Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as warm as I'd hoped I used these right away for some high mountain hikes in So Cal and also for my low level gloves on a mountaineering trip up Mt. Washington, NH a few weeks ago. These would also, hopefully be my primary go-to gloves for my EBC trip in April. First off, I found if my hands get damp and cold, it's very difficult to put the glove back on. I typically wear a small or a medium, and I did get a medium in these. I could actually take a large, I believe. Also, even in the So Cal peaks, at 5700, my finger tips are getting numb. The safety cord is cumbersome to stuff back inside, and gets in the way of an ice axe. I like that they are light weight, and easy to stow. Final verdict, I'm still getting to know these gloves, but they probably will not be my go-to for anything below 45 degrees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My mom loves these gloves. I got these gloves for my mom for Christmas and she loves them. She uses them to jog in the winter. They're great for ladies because aren't too bulky and they go with any women's outfit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and dry I love the glove... This is my second pair. Minor complaint is that it fits a little tighter than my first pair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Changed Design? I absolutely LOVE my Randonnee gloves, which I have owned since 2010. They've been my go-to-gloves for February hikes up Mt Lafayette, weekend-long backpacking trips in arctic conditions, snowshoeing, and more. They allow superior dexterity while keeping my hands SUPER warm. Unfortunately, last backpacking trip, they got too close to the fire, so I had to buy a new pair. They arrived yesterday, and I've DEVASTATED to discover that my fingers hardly fit into them! Has Marmot redesigned the stitching, particularly in the fingers? While the length seems the same, the fingers in the new gloves are much more restrictive. Compared side to side, it seems the material stitched into the palm side of the fingers is more narrow and tapered than in previous models (see photo for comparison). I would get a larger pair, but doing that would mean longer fingers. What a disappointment!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs a bit small warmer than most My hands and feet get really COLD really FAST, so even when it usually doesn't go below 20F (and according to the Weather Channel feels like 1F brrrr!) I decided to invest in a good pair of gloves so scraping the car and just walking around wouldn't be painful. These did the job much better than previous purchases but felt not as warm as I wished. I'm outdoorsy and I want my warmth! I always wear S with Marmot gloves (XS with NorthFace and Nike). I got S and fit too snugly so if you are between sizes go a size up. I'm giving three and not four stars because for almost 100 bucks I was expecting more warmth, maybe order a size up and use lining (?)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable Gloves Kept my hands super dry and comfortable all 3 days on the slopes. Not as warm as I was hoping for and the finger length was a little long for me, which made it a tad harder to grip my poles at times.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Awesome glove but.... I bought 2 sets of these gloves because the other reviews were glowing about how warm these gloves were. They arrived and my daughter and I tried them on (we both wear a medium) and they did not fit either of us. The gloves ran very small. We reordered them in a large and they still did not fit. Neither of has particularly large hands (no man hands in this family) I just think they are awkwardly sewn. As a reference my ring size is a 4 so no fat fingers either. They just didn't fit. Really bummed they didn't work out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong value with a minor quibble I'm three months in with hard use on these in a MN. winter. So far, so good. These are very well made with excellent seams, rugged fabric, and surprisingly durable palms. The waterproof ness (?) is superb, and the soft nose-wipe on the thumb back is a decadent luxury. My only gripe is the fit. I don't have big hands, or sausage fingers, but I do have long hands. I bought the XXL and the fit is acceptable, but a bit snug. I realize Marmot walks a fine line between utility and bulk, and, yes, I could have bought mittens for ultimate warmth, but glove warmth is as much a function of " dead air" space and "wiggle room" as it is of materials and insulation quality. If these were just a little bit roomier they'd be significantly warmer. They are, still, a solid product.
