Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, airy and super dry I bought this tent for the big space. Four people would be tight, especially if they are big people. I use it with my two young sons and there is plenty of room. It is light and super easy to set up. The stakes are super sturdy and the mesh top keeps condensation down overnight. The fly also does an incredible job of keeping the tent dry in rain. On my last campout, I got rained on for 10 hours in this tent and there was literally not a drop of water in it. Unreal. Then a windy cold front blew in and the low height combined with the aerodynamic fly kept the wind from blowing it over while some of the other bargain tents were flipping around wildly. Super satisfied with this purchase. Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legit Been all around in this tent snow and such, the latest was a 15 day hunting trip in AZ with 40 mph winds and rain. Tied the gui's down and the thing was solid! Very impressed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Airy and dry I bought this tent to replace a small Coleman tent, I needed more room and I wanted to make sure I wouldn't get wet if it rains. The setup was easy and I like the fact that most of the top of the tent is made of mesh. I'm in Florida so it's very humid at night especially in the summer time. It rained the first night we were in it and when we woke up in the morning there was no condensation whatsoever in the tent. About the construction, it's very lightweight and the stakes are very sturdy. I liked the fact that this tent comes with a footprint. It's a bit tight for 4 people, especially if you're bigger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Tent I haven't had a chance to use it in the field yet, but having set it up to inspect it, I can say it seems superior to the competitor's tent I have used and enjoyed for several years. Very easy to set up. High quality materials. The zippers are noticeably better than on competitors' tents. Based on my, so far limited, experience with this tent, I highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from huge! Superb tent for family cycling trips. I love that it is so high and the kids can stand inside and play. Very roomy thanks to the shape of the poles at the bottom. Super easy to setup. Fairly light, double entry is very convenient, clear color nice in hot areas, littles cons : not enough stakes supplied, no elastic cords on the sides, no footprint supplied where I purchased it, could be a little lighter so compete with MSR tents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marmot Tungsten 4P Innovative design, we all know what happens when the sleeping bag contacts the wall of the tent overnight... it gets wet. The short wall design will help with that. It's bitterly cold tonight -20 with wind. This tent is a great 3S, but wish they made a true 4S at this price point. The extra weight is for more durable materials and it is worth it. Also, not everyone wants neon colors because some of us want to blend in not stand out.. how about some camo?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too soon to tell I have only set this tent up 3 times. Easy to set up. On a clear summer night, this thing would be great. Take off the rain fly and it's basically a mosquito net with a floor and two doors. I have only used it once. Smoky Mountains in January... 20 degrees F. We did not use the vestibules-- we let the rain fly fall over the doors to keep the heat in. Even with the poor ventilation, there was not too much condensation in the morning. I bought this tent because I thought it would be a comfortable place to be stuck in the rain. It is what I expected-- the doors are almost vertical and if the rain is falling straight down, you can unzip the rain fly door and still no rain falls directly into the tent. For those long hours when you're stuck in the tent, maybe you can't sleep or whatever, the tent is very spacious. The two cross-poles really pull out the sides and make the place feel huge. I have always been used to two-pole tents where the sides taper off... compared to those tents, it feels like a castle in the woods. In terms of backpacking, this is a heavy tent so if you're one of the "ultra light" backpackers... forget about it. Unless you actually plan to put four people in it. That's about 2 pounds per person... completely reasonable. But if you're like me, you just have two people and maybe a dog. And some wine and other luxuries, and you're only doing 2-5 night treks... then this tent is perfect for two people. Three would make it even more practical but I wouldn't want to be the third wheel.
