other than the minor diff such as pocket #/location and weight (differences I can overlook), are there major substantive differences between the speed light and Cerro Torre jackets?  Is there a difference in fabric, lining, seams, use?

Asked by: Chota
Hiya Chota, thanks for your question! The Cerro Torre jacket is made with Gore-Tex c-knit, a more supple fabric. It is breathable and is less stiff and crinklely. The Speed Light is more abrasion resistant, stiffer and waterproof for extra protection. Hope this helps!

I am usually between a medium and a large. How does the Marmot Speed Light run? Small, large, or normal? Thanks!

Asked by: Chris
Thanks for the question! The Speed Light Jacket has an "athletic fit" and will be somewhat slim fitting. If you like a more tailored fit/look, then I would get your normal size. If you plan on wearing layers underneath, then I would go a size up. Hope this helps!

Will this coat keep you warm when it's 20 degrees out

Asked by: charlie
Hiya charlie, thanks for the question! I wouldn't recommend this jacket for warmth since it has no insulation. It is a heavy duty outer shell for protection from extreme weather conditions. Hope this helps!
