The Mammut Infinity Classic 9.5mm Rope is a single rope that is best suited for the gym. Rated for 6-7 falls by UIAA, you're getting loads of durability with the classic coated rope. The treatment gives balance between sheath proportion and low weight, so you can get in plenty of daily action without wearing it down. The 9.5mm is at the skinnier end of the spectrum when it comes to single ropes, but definitely not the smallest. Enjoy the drop in weight while still getting plenty to handle.

FEATURES of the Mammut Infinity Classic 9.5mm Rope

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super smooth and easy to handle I've had this rope for a couple weeks and it's been great. Goes through equipment smoothly and handles very nicely. Only drawback is the lack of dry coating, but that is an option on the more expensive versions if you want to pay more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome, Lightweight Rope I bought this climbing rope last season to replace my Maxim Glider. I have used it climbing outside for about 40 days so far, and am very pleased with it.,,,,It is very light which is one reason I chose it. I do a lot of alpine climbing and the reduced weight in my pack has been great. It is also very supple and handles well, and has remained virtually as supple as the day I got it. The coating on the rope is one of the smoothest I have felt, and has yet to wear off in the year I have had and abused it.,,,,The weave of the sheath is not as fine as on my Glider, but with the coating it feeds just as smoothly. I'm actually starting the like the wider sheath weave, it makes the rope a little easier to grip during hard catches.,,,,I wouldn't use it for toproping, but it has worked great so far for the sport, trad, and alpine climbing I have done with it. It's my favorite rope I have used.
