The MSR Mutha Hubba 3 Person Tent is my go-to tent for 3-season camping trips. It's very roomy and the weight is managable, even if only split up among two people (which is how I usually use it).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid tent This tent is solid & can be easily put up by 1 person. The poles are a little brittle in temps below freezing (hey it was Nov.!) Plenty of room for 2 & gear inside. 2 vestibules are more than sufficient. A loop inside the center of the tent provides a great place to hang a small lantern. My only complaint after 2 years is that I have found this tent to be difficult to quickly get into while also getting both the fly and the tent zipped up. To fully zip up the fly when going into the tent one must zip the fly all the way to ground level while partially inside the tent. Privacy is critical to me as a female Boy Scout leader so the fly must be closed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Of the 5 or 6 tents we own. . .this is the one we use. We spent one 72-day summer on the Harley from TX to Banff to Vancouver, BC, down the CA coast and back to TX, almost all one-night camps, and it kept the two of us snug and dry in wind and rain. The next summer we did 70 nights in it from Madrid to Prague and from Athens to Copenhagen. Again, not a broken stitch, not a jammed zipper. I just put it up in the yard in preparation for this summer's loop east to Savannah and up to P.E. I. across to Sturgis and home again, 7,000+ miles. I can depend on the Mutha Hubba, and believe it or not, my girl loves to sleep with the sound of rain on the fly. Good girl and good tent!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid tent with lots of space and easy set-up. Amazing materials. We've had our MSR Mutha Hubba for 2 years now, and have pushed the limits of 3 seasons with it. It has never let us down. The set-up is simple and quick. We've had no issues with the zippers or seams wearing. It does require a little practice and some good tie down points to get the fly pitched extremely taught.,,,,We are usually 2+gear in it, but you could easily fit a third person comfortably, with gear in the vestibule. Where it excels is in providing good ventilation for sticky summer nights. Great for family camping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s your call. I own and use both the MSR Mutha Hubba and the Marmot Aeros 3P. They are both great tents, each with its own pros and cons.,,,,The Aeros 3P is the roomier of the two and definitely good for three people. Its set up, however, especially attaching the rain fly, is more complex, complicated, and time consuming.,,,,The Mutha Hubba is a snap to set up, especially in a storm, is bomb proof in high winds, but more of a deluxe two-person tent.,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent for backpacking We love this tent! Very easy to set up and take down and the two doors help to vent and get air flowing through. Poles go together easily and slide through the rivets with ease. There is plenty of space for two people plus your gear for safe keeping! We have been through two major rain storms with it and stayed dry. Also there is a loop inside at the apex to hang a lantern or head lamp which is very handy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Holds up the manufacturer name, light as a feather After experience with the Hubba, I decided on an upgrade to the Mutha Hubba to have a little more wiggle room for the wife and myself. We actually got the NX with a slightly different pole arrangement, color scheme, and weight. Holy salmon snakes! We love it! The quality and durability has proven to be phenomenal. It is just as good if not better than anything we have had in the past. Set-up is a breeze, even in rainy or windy conditions. An added bonus is the uber light weight of the tent, which really helps on backpacking trips in the Tetons. Only downside we have is that the Mutha Hubba NX tent does not have the clips to attach to the clips in the footprint it pairs with. That is something that we miss from our Hubba tent/footprint combo. All in all though, we have been very pleased with our purchase and subsequent service from Moosejaw, and we are sure to come to them again for our outdoor adventure needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tent I own. Out of all the tents I own this tent is by the far the most versatile tent out there. It packs down to the size of a two person tent. Comfortably sleeps 3 with gear inside. One of the easiest and fastest tents to setup I have ever seen. The mesh canopy makes it great for the warmer months. Def. worth the money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome 3 Season Tent! Ive Had my MSR Mutha Hubba for almost a year now. Love it. Always keeps me dry in the rain and or on wet mornings. Quiet zippers. Very lightweight. Perfect for the minimalist camper. And plus the rain fly is green! Lol. MSR succeeds again!
