Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and Fast. Great for climbing. I've taken these on a number of backcountry runs and the combination of the ascender bar and light construction kept me from postholing all the way up the mountian. the strapping system i found to be intuitive and solid. The full crampon style frame kept me stuck to the icy parts while my jealous travel buddies slid and skied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight with the grit. I like these! They work perfect for backcountry walks or a walk to the mailbox when you don't feel up to challenge of telemark BC. Work great in deep powder or icy surfaces. The elevator is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! I bought these a few weeks ago and, while it has yet to snow and is still 50 degrees outside in the upper midwest, the snowshoes look really cool in their packaging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rocky Mountain Charger and Escape Genius Just bought these two days ago. I took them out on 22.5 mile hike and got way in over my head with snow depth, avy conditions, and a basin that had waist deep snow. I beat the crap out of these snowshoes and slowly got out after a 12 hour slog. As I lost elevation, I learned a lot about these snowshoes as conditions changed and got better. ,,,,I bashed the front end off a rock and bent it pretty bad. When I got home, I was able to fix it. Overall, I benefit these snowshoes to pretty much saving me from spending a night out in the wilderness. They don't do great in deep snow but what shoe really does? They aren't cheap but I can't think of any other snowshoe that could survive the kind of abuse these took. Also, some people complain about paint chipping. My advice is buy the silver ones. Mine still look good after miles of hitting rocks under powder snow and bouncing off trees.
