Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rockin snowshoes!!! I had used a pair ofor MSR snowshoes in the past and liked them so I got these and love them! They are lite weight and love that I can get attachments to make them longer. These are awesome and we're a great price

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not bad- good value for price after we got over 1' of light, powdery snow, I put on my SS's and headed out to the grocery store. With out SS's, I postholed past my knees, with these on I went down about 3". With my pack and groceries I was at 155 lbs. Easy on and off, and yes- you can do that with gloves on. I took them up a steep ascent and activated the back flappy thing and that worked well. I am happy with this purchase and have owned (and still own) many MSR products for the past 30 + years. It is a quality brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from we own two pairs - great snow shoes! Great snow shoes. After much (ab)use over the years, we have broken a couple straps and several buckles. I have been consolidating to one fully working pair of snow shoes. The only trouble I have is that I cannot seem to source replacement parts at my local shops! :( I am looking forward to putting them to work again this winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EVO Ascent Snootiness! OK, so I'm now into 4th seadon on these shoes for moderate/difficult on and off-trail work. It's simple,- they embarrass the competition! Nothing beats them for stable, controlled, confident ascents, either up or down. The harness system is rock solid and never freezes-up, and the Denali-tail option for better float in deep snow is a brilliant, totally flexible innovation that really deserves a Nobel Prize. OK, I'm done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 years now, going strong! Heavy usage in the White Mountains and peaks of New England. 100+ peaks and a ton of mileage in the woods, things work perfect. I've replaced the heel straps, started cracking at year 4 at stress points near holes. Replaced all of the rivets as they break. Easy to fix, they work amazing. Only complaint is they are loud in the hard/crusty snow. Have the tails, I've yet to use them in 5 years, rarely do I take with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No downside! The design makes this shoe special. Adjustable heel elevator wire aid on the uphill. Claw teeth at the forefoot, double row of shark-toothed saw blades full length, snow grabbing cross ribs molded into the body, easy tighten/release rubber straps that work with heavy gloves. The metal underfoot is closely aligned to the edges of your boots rather than at the outside, for better feel & surer footing on side slopes and finicky footing. The removable tails greatly increase flexibility of use by weight of person or load. Light & fast. Durable. Available replacement parts seal the deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best! I still fairly new to snowshoeing, but of the few different pairs I've used these are far and away the best. Light, great flotation, the ascenders are awesome for hills, and the built in crampons are sufficient. Even if they stay in the pack the whole trip, which has happened a few times, they are light enough to not totally weigh you down. Highly recommended!
