Bright 1500 Light Includes Batteries and 2 MountsI'm using this every day while under tree cover to be visible on the MTB and also on early and late and rainy rides for my good vision. I'm pairing it with the L&M 100 rear light, FYI, which I recommend. The TAZ 1500 is well made, fairly compact, and mounts easily using the standard (rubber band style) mount, as long as I use the included foam pad underneath. I tried the BarFly mount which is good but it requires an allen wrench to remove it (such as when charging), and the standard mount works well for me when mounting the light next to the stem; can remove/mount it by simply pulling its rubber band mount/tab. The TAZ 1500's beam is bright and lights the trail very well at night, and when set to pulse mode, warns approaching cyclists during the day. My daily 2.5 hour ride takes 1/4 of the battery so I do charge it after each ride; that way it charges fairly fast via USB. I like the side pulse lights and use them but don't think we need a separate button to change settings on the side lights. I'm positive that this feature increased the cost of the manufacturing with very little benefit in my opinion. Overall one of the better self-contained lights out there.
