Rated 5 out of 5 by from keep at least 1 in repair kit if you need your poles. if they break you can damage the bottom sectio i use the leki's every time i hike and scramble and climb. hard trips and never been let down. i carry spare tips in repair kir and do use them. they last about 2 years. i also carry a BD repair kit that saved me after summitting Aconcagua. these moose guys can order spare bottom sections if u bug them.. i replace them about every 2 years or for a major tripbuggaboos in July 2008. and keep the old sections as spares...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best tips on the planet These work really well. They really dig into the ice, and don't break easily. I lost my rubber feet for them while in Alaska, and had to use just this tip on the rock, and it bearly got worn down at all. Great choice. I've had the same ones for 4 years now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy these. You will never regret it. I love my trekking poles (Mine happen to be Leki UltraliteTiAirErgo PA AS if you really care...). And of course, trekking poles gotta have tips!! If you are an OFB (old fart backpacker) I cannot over-emphasize the usefulness of trekking poles!! They are multi-purpose tools! Use them as probes (to see how deep the water really is in that creek), as tent poles (for you ultra-light people), as weapons for beating the back of the hiker in front of you (especially if that hiker is a sibling), and to make your hike easier! The poles really do help alot with fatigue, and if you are doing any scrambling, they work great as levers to drag your happy little self up the trail. And new tips are a great
