The La Sportiva Women's Miura VS Climbing Shoe is a rock climbing shoe for those that have a thing against laces. With a hook and loop closure system, you'll get everything you love from the laced Miura, but you'll totally get on the rock or gym wall much faster since you don't have to do any tying of the laces. Edge like no tomorrow with the Slingshot Rand and Powerhinge System and the 4mm Vibram® XS Grip2 rubber will stick like glue. The leather upper stretches, softens and forms to your foot over time while the Dentex lining helps to prevent too much stretching. Underfoot you'll be free from any lining for a close-to-the-rock feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Of the 6 pairs of climbing shoes I own, these are THE BEST by far! These shoes are the most responsive shoes I've owned. And while they are quite aggressive, they are far more comfortable than some of the super painful shoes that are out there. They have a good pointy toe for great edging and a solid heal-cup for those important heal hooks that I'm such a fan of. The rubber is super sticky and the velcro style make them very easy to take on and off for a happier day at the rock. ,,,,I love these shoes so much that I destroyed my first pair because I couldn't part with them long enough to get them resoled. I waited until they were on sale, and Moosejaw had them for just the right price to get my replacement pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from get over the flowers and get in these shoes This shoe would be 5/5 just like the mens VS and for GOOD REASON, if it wasn't for some whiners who couldn't handle a barely noticeable print on a small strip of leather around the shoe. GET OVER IT! This is an amazing, precise, sticky shoe that every lady climber should own. Ok, as long as it fits you. I ordered 2 sizes to try and ended up going 2 full sizes down from my street. Surprisingly easy to get into, and the heel sucks your foot in and keeps it there. The break in is WORTH IT and they'll start forming to you faster than you think thanks to the unlined footbed (I think the leather feels much better on the skin and no synthetic stink)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect shoe! -These are the second pair of shoes I've owned and I would recommend them to almost anyone. I started out with a less aggressive shoe, which I believe is the right choice when learning how to climb. ,,-Great for overhanging climbs, crimpy slab climbs, and pretty much everything. Very aggressive shoe and extremely durable.,,-Because the Miura VS rubber is so strong, they are quite painful in the beginning. However after breaking them in, they have completely formed to my feet. ,,-I am a size 8 street shoe and bought a size 6. perfect fit for me---however some people would argue that they would be a half size too small--but that's how I like my climbing shoes to fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hate the stupid flowers, love the shoes. These shoes are a total joy. I've worn the testarossas for years. I just bought these to be a beater pair for training days, but honestly, and I don't say this lightly, I think I might like them better than the testarossas. They hold their own on overhangs while performing slightly better on slab. Not to mention they're Velcro, which, lets all be honest, is quick and wonderful. ,,I'm still keeping the testarossas for their aggressiveness, the laces when I need to really tighten down, and the psychological boost of all their flashiness, but I was surprised by how much I like the muiras as an all around shoe. La Sportiva just makes good climbing shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from too good that i just had to buy another! bought my first pair of la sportivas and it was a perfect fit! haha. despite having slim feet, the miura vs really fits quite well. its good for lead and bouldering and the rubber is really awesome for edging. no gaping mouth at the front after long usage and the fit is quite comfortable. (testarossas were more comfortable for me, but the heel cup didnt fit as well.),,,,love the flower prints. gives a different feel! all in all, my shoes lasted for about a year and a half. its a great performance shoe!,,,,bad points: it stretches after awhile, but who says we need toe-killer shoes to perform well when we climb! plus the rubber at the heel seems like the first to peel open after awhile.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These shoes are pretty sweet! Super aggressive The toe is AMAZING. They're pretty low volume for narrow feet and those three straps are great because make the shoe fit evenly on both sides. I use them both indoors and outdoors for sport climbing and bouldering, and they're great for everything. They smear like a dream and they're rad on slab. The best part is they were completely broken in after about three long sessions of climbing. I have long feet and wear a street shoe size of about 10.5 and I bought these in a 38, which is about 3 sizes down. They stretched just enough to be reasonably comfortable.,,The only thing I don't like about them is that they're white, which is a very silly color for a climbing shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best footwear at the cheapest price PLUS fashion! Looking for these shoes I found that everywhere sold them for about 180-210 (offline). So onto the web I went and after a few hours I stumbled upon this site. This is the only site (on and offline) that has this model of the Miura. Not only are these top quality material (meaning they’ll last about twice as long as other brands) and perfect for smearing, but the price is the best plus free shipping and no tax PLUS reward points. Though I'm not one to ever pick something merely for fashions sake, the fact that they are so adorable is also a bonus. This product is a must for all serious rock climbers and boulder-ers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy them! These things are amazing. They are definitely a different, more aggressive shoe than the lace-up. Although I sized down 2.5 sizes from my street shoe while my lace-ups are only 2 sizes down, I actually think these are more comfortable. The lining feels really nice and the straps allow for a more custom fit. I intended for these to be my bouldering shoe, but now they're my go-to. The rubber sticks to those edges that don't exist and the shoe stays put on heel hooks. My only tiny complaint (although this obviously has to do somewhat with my abuse) is that the bottom straps are starting to wear through because of some foot-dragging. Oh, and just embrace the flowers. They're not so bad...

I wear a street shoe size 9.5. What size would I be in these?

Asked by: meou
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us. Since fit is so important when it comes to climbing shoes, it's best to try them on before buying. However, if that's not possible, you might want to bracket your original shoe size with other sizes and sending back the ones that don't fit. Since you want a snug fit, you might want to size 1-2 sizes down from your regular street shoe size. If you're regularly a 9.5 I would try between a 38 and 41. I hope this helps!

La Sportiva footwear is built and offered on European half sizes, which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives them four extra sizes per size run, and ultimately gives you a better fit.

Please review La Sportiva's size conversion chart above to help determine your ideal size. Below you will find additional information about how to fit and break in the different styles of La Sportiva footwear, which will also help guide you to the correct size.

• As a general rule soft shoes like climbing shoes require a tighter fit, or about two to three sizes smaller than your street shoe size.
• La Sportiva recommends you fit your trad climbing shoes one to two sizes under your street shoe size.
• La Sportiva offers a lot of lasts, and each offers a different fit and feel. Remember to factor in potential stretching.
• Unlined slip-lasted shoes tend to stretch a bit more than lined shoes, or about one full size.
• Lined shoes stretch about a half size.

• PERFORMANCE FIT - offers a high performance fit and a downturned last.
• TECH FIT - a more technical fit and a last with neutral profile.
• COMFORT FIT - a comfortable fit and a last with more volume and a neutral profile.

• Find your US Size in the guide above, then find the Euro Size conversion and add one half size.
• The ideal size holds your toes ever so slightly away from the front of the boot while the lacing system is snug across the top of your arch.
• If you can try to boots on beforehand, make sure you wear the same size and weight socks you would typically wear with the boots, and any orthotics or custom footbeds you use.
• It is ideal to fit boots later in the day since feet are prone to swell slightly as a day progresses.
• Wear your boots indoors only until you are confident about the fit.
• Your foot should feel snug (not tight) from the arch back into the heel pocket with just a minimum lift as you walk. If your heel lifts make sure the lacing is snug and not too loose.
• Your toes should NOT touch the front of the boot, but when you kick the toe into the floor, you should know where the front of the boot is. You want just enough room to wiggle your toes.
• If your toes or sides of your feet feel squished, most likely the width is too narrow and the boot will not work for you.
• If your toes touch the front of the boot, most likely it is too short and you need the next half size up.
• Make sure to keep all original packaging that came with your boots until you are sure that you are happy with your purchase.
