Rated 1 out of 5 by from Substandard in every way I bought two harnesses about a month ago for my husky mixes. Since then, one of the harnesses has become so threadbare and worn, I’ll need to buy a new harness soon. When tightened so that the harness won’t shift, it pulls under the dog’s front legs and has made my dogs uncomfortable. When loosened slightly, the harness shifts while walking or in the car and allows my dogs to twist and turn so that the D “anti-pulling” ring is to their side or their back and is useless. Using the lead for keeping them contained in the car is utterly ineffective. It loops around a seat belt and clips to the back of the harness with a carabiner. Because the seat belt is loose, they’re able to drag themselves from one end of the seat to the other, hang out the window, etc. It’s as if they’re not even wearing a harness. Using these harnesses to train against pulling is especially pointless with two dogs, as they end up turning into each other constantly and no lessons are learned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Harness I bought three of these for my dogs, they all weigh different weights (7lbs, 15lbs, and 55lbs), but all work wonderfully for all dogs. Considering one of my dogs is part dachshund it is usually hard to find a harness that fits her as well as the other two. The seat belt carabiniere that comes with the harness is wonderful and sized perfectly for each harness I got. Clipping them into the car is so quick and easy. All dogs are completely content in the harness and have no complaints. All in all the fabric the harness is made out of, how it is built and sewn, and its functionality are WONDERFUL!! (I've included a picture below of my larger dog with the harness on)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They keep getting better We've owned 3 generations of this harness, and they keep getting better. I've seen the materials improve in the buckles and the instructions are getting clearer too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING QUALITY. Definitely "enhanced strength" This harness + seatbelt combo saved my dog's life! I purchased it roughly a year ago. Before this, I would just tie my dog's leash around the headrest in the car, thereby keeping him somewhat secure when he stuck his head out the window. However, I knew this was no long term solution. As I am a law student and on a strict budget, I researched several brands, all of which I found to simply be WAY too overpriced (after all, I'm purchasing this product for my dog's safety--so companies/brands who severly overprice such products make me question their overall business model, company philosophy etc.) Anyway, I happened upon Kurgo on the website "Chewy", and was impressed with the reviews. Toby is a 35 pound, full-grown, beagle/lab mix, and I purchased the medium. This past week I was driving in the morning with Toby hooked up per usual. However, as I was merging onto the interstate, a car suddenly cut me off. I had to swerve rather violently to avoid a collision and OUT THE WINDOW WENT TOBY. I cannot put into words how thankful I am for this product. As I was on the highway ramp, I could not suddenly stop to get him. I knew he was still attached as his little white head kept poking up. Anyways, this stellar product was able to hold Toby's full weight while I was driving at least 40 mph (for what felt like an eternity but less than 1 minute). The quality of materials used and construction meant Toby did not suffer any real injuries, or worse. Only one of his back paws had a minor scrape from the pavement. Also, the condition of the product was perfectly the same following such stress. So I & Tobias thank you for an affordable, quality product!! (the window also will no longer be rolled more than halfway down, which was obviously my mistake)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love love love I bought this 2 weeks ago for my mastiff cross as he was such a puller! This harness has worked wonders! Reduced his pulling by 70% I would say making our walks much more enjoyable

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was ok until my dog ate it I have a dachshund and I really needed this harness for him because be loves to go in the car. It did not fit him perfect and it was loose but I thought it was okay until I found him chewed out of it. Expensive lesson - I should have sent it back when I found it too big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, Room to move Much sturdier than I expected. Fits well over my lab mix with deep chest. Dog seems comfortable wearing it. Easy to clip carbiner to seatbelt. Feel as if I got great value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just not great. . . My dog is between two sizes, so the harness doesn't fit her all that well. The harness itself is well made. As per attaching her to the seatbelt, we tried both variations, and both times she wiggled around and bit a hole in the seatbelt. I realize this isn't the products fault, the harness is fine, but the dog in the video is clearly used to being harnessed. Mine wasn't.
