The Blur Knife by Kershaw. For top performance and attention-getting style, it's the Kershaw Ken Onion Blur series. Blurs feature premium 13C26 stainless-steel blades for strength and corrosion resistance. Choose standard or partially serrated blades. Blurs are SpeedSafe equipped for smooth, one-handed opening. The anodized aluminum handles are durable and lightweight. For extra traction and a secure grip, the handles are outfitted with Trac-Tec inserts. The rough Trac-Tec material provides a non-slip grip even in wet and slippery conditions. Ideal for extreme or everyday situations, the Blur series offers power and performance. New for 2007, we've added a Stone Washed Blur with its terrific handle look and S30V stainless-steel blade for toughness and ease of sharpening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This knife will put a smile on your face- you can spend twice as much and get a knife half as good. This is a nice knife. There is a strange satisfaction you get when flipping this open that borderlines on giddy as a school girl (did I just say that?). The Kershaw Blur has it where it counts for a knife; the blade is very sharp and holds an edge well even after months of use. I do not have the serrated version so I cannot comment on that style's longevity of staying sharp. The Trac-Tec inserts in the handle resembles skateboard tape which works as advertised in preventing the knife from moving around in your hand. It is well balanced, comfortable while handling, and much lighter than a full tang knife. The pocket clip does a good job of keeping the knife in place. I did dock a star from the review however because I believe this knife would really benefit from a safety locking system as strange things tend to occur in packs while hiking. All in all, the knife is made of quality materials and has served me well as a hiking companion. For the money, it is an excellent buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good knife but slightly disappointed with the plastic handle Got the knife in the mail and was excited as hell. Big props to Moosejaw for shipping it the same day I ordered it, especially on cyber Monday. The knife is ridiculously sharp and solid construction. The only complaint and it isn't really a big one is that I thought the handle would have a little more grip to it rather than a hard plastic.,,Love the madness!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good knife for general use This is a good knife for most general knife things, i would still always recommend and nice fixed blade over a folder, but this is a solid knife and will pass most tests its put through. i have used it for many outdoor activities and it is still holding up great. feels good in hand and the weight isn't too bad either.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice knife for moderate to heavy use I had the S30V steel version with G10 inserts on aluminum handle. ,,,,Pros: assisted opening is definitely assisted. -Blade is well sharpened, though not as much as a leek comes. -handle is well designed and fit comfortably in my hand. blade profile is very useful for cutting and slicing. Retention is good. Lockup is very solid, with no play. At least for mine.,, ,,Cons: Blade length is above legal limit in my state of residence; pushed me away from carrying it regularly. Kershaw clip is far from deep carry; the knife stuck out and was easily noticed when carried in pockets. ,,,,Bottom line: A great knife, well designed. Definitely good for use in the outdoors, and in more rough circumstances. Not a knife I found good for EDC. ,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Knife - used for hunting, fishing, camping, daily use I've had this knife for about 2 years now. You can see the wear and tear on the handle but the blade is still fine as ever. I've used this knife for hunting, camping, fishing, backpacking, and everything else. It has never failed to do the job. I've only had to sharpen it one time, so the blade holds its edge. Bottom line, I would fork up the cash and buy this blade. My in the straight blade, but that is just my preference. I've even used this knife as my duty knife when working, it’s reliable and the assisted open function is phenomenal.,,,,You should probably buy this knife right now!,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It carries me. I carried this knife daily since 2005 or 2006. I have owned both the tanto style and the drop point style. I have lost this knife twice and replaced it twice, the most recent edition being from 2008. It does hold an edge well, I have always had the serrated version, though would rather not as I feel its a waste of usable space...next time I lose it I will replace it with no serration. The flip works flawless after years of constant use and abuse, the serration has never been sharpened and is still razor sharp. The flat portion is easily sharpened. I highly recommend this knife, though I feel like 109 bucks is way more than the 60 I paid for it in 2008.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from scary but sweet knife!! :) got this knife for my hubby for christmas and he has not stopped flipping it open since! he loves the switchblade-like open (which freaks me out to be honest! LOL). he plans to use it for work, hiking, and anything else he can think of. it came in handy during christmas when opening up gifts/packaging for my nieces! there were other smaller knives available but this one seems to be the size he can use for anything. and bonus- it has a clip so you can attach it to your pocket.
