Rated 5 out of 5 by from October in Pennsylvania Retailers insist on consumer reviews usually within two weeks of purchasing products. Honest users usually probably can provide a reaisticl review after a few months or after intensive use. It's October in Pennsylvania, so my micro spikes are hanging out in the box. Kahtoola does a great job with packaging so my spikes seem content living in their cardboard home. They spend most of the day sleeping quietly, but tend to become restless after dinner. I'm hoping that will pass with an earlier sunset from nonsense daylight savings, because they feel closer to winter. 5 stars on my spikes' comfort in a pleasantly designed box. As for their true functionality, it's October in Pennsylvania.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work like magic! I previously used another brand of traction footwear, which although I am sure are just fine for wandering around town or local use, but when on the trails hiking recently with a group of friends who all had on Kahtoola Microspikes, I really noticed how hard I was struggling (especially when going up the steeper, icy areas) compared to those wearing Kahoola. They went uphill with ease, while I was slipping and losing my footing quite often. Since I have my own pair now, I have traveled all types of snowy and icy trails without any issues. I am so impressed with the high quality of Kahoola, they are durable and well built. Winter conditions won't stop me now! -Very happy consumer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for late fall hiking I have had my Microspikes for 2.5 years. I will not leave my house for a fall or winter hike without them. I bought them to replace my old traction which had wire wrapped around rubber on the bottom of the foot. These would break when I was on snow topped ice. These Microspikes keep the rubber above the footwear, and have a durable steel chain bottom. The spikes are durable enough that I have no problems wearing them on bare, wet rocks. The spikes provide incredible traction and other hikers are always pointing and asking about them when they see how easily we pass a difficult, ice-encased scramble. Even if they're only needed at the peak, the security of staying on my feet is worth the small amount of weight and room they take in the pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spikes for the trail! So, I have spent the last two trips along the Smokies taking longer than necessary to get from A to B. All the while being passed by others with microspikes adorning their boots. This winter, it's my turn to power forward on the trail, and cut my time down. The sizing chart was accurate for me, 11.5 wide. I don't have to struggle to get them on, nor are they loose. I don't notice them on in the lava rock bed out back. They are comfortable and feel durable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome, borderline mandatory, product! I have been using these for 2-3 years now doing winter and early spring hikes in the ADK high peaks area. With the exception of my new boots (Soloman's), they have always fit well and have been mandatory for climbing icy surfaces and slides on the mountains. I do not know of a better system out there to get the hiking job done. I have since recommended and bought this item for friends, family, and a significant other.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect fit! I bought these a couple of weeks ago. When I took them out, it did not appear they would fit onto my high top, rugged Vasque hiking boots, but they did...perfectly! They came highly recommended by a hiking club whose members regularly climb 14ers so I trust their judgement. Looking forward to years of use in the Rockies. Gave them 4 stars since I have not used them yet for a long period of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent item My boyfriend works outside and saw these micros pikes in a magazine. He had just gotten them in the mail 2 days before we got dumped on with 31 inches of snow and used the spikes, they were awesome he said they were the best things, and well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built for cold! I've had a few different sets of spikes over the years. One of the nicest things with these is that that are still flexible in below zero weather and east to take one and off and stay on in rough tarain is awesome. They cost a little more, but worth it.

Do they fit man size 16 boot

Asked by: Remark
Unfortunately, the MICROspikes only go up to Men's boot size 14. Another brand option is Icebug, but again, I do not see an option available in your size. Please don't hate me.
