Rated 5 out of 5 by from Julbo Micropores Sunglasses The Spectron 3 is a suitable lens for sunny to cloudy light conditions. The Micropore can be adjusted for a super snug fit, which is comfy as well! I use these for hiking and skiing, The design is classic and won't be out of style for years to come. Do recommend an after-market case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great eye protection at a fair price! Got these glasses to replace a pair of oakleys that I accidentally ran over! I haven't had the chance to take these on the mountain yet, but I did spend 3 or 4 days shoveling 2 feet of snow for multiple hours in -30 windchill! I loved how these glasses helped block a good amount of wind from blasting my face. I bought the alti arc 4+ lens and they compare very well to all the polarized lenses I have owned in the past and are almost half the price. I was amazed at how much detail these glasses revealed in the blinding white snow! Perfect tint!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good, works well, comfortable I bought this glasses for winter hiking. It prevent sunshine and also keep my eyes warm in the mountain. It is really a good idea that it has the lanyard so I cannot lost it as my last pair of sunglasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for those who don't like wearing glasses! I really don't like wearing sunglasses, but these were perfect! I have a hard time finding glasses where my eyelashes don't rub against the inside lenses and these were perfect! The ear piece is bendable and comfortable to wear all day long (I took these on a 12 day mountaineering expedition and they protected my eyes wonderfully!). Also the side pieces were nice and loose on the side of my head. Best thing I bought for a mountaineering trip!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serious Glacier Glasses with a badass "Old School" look. Not a toy. I've had a pair of these for years. They rock. Whoever said they are flimsy is an idiot. Mine have gone up and down some big mountains and been mistreated in between, squished in the top pocket of my backpack. They still survive. The lenses are DARK, which is what you want on snow, but they're really not suitable for driving or "in town" use unless you're in Chamonix. Out of all the other glacier glasses I've tried, Julbo lenses are the clearest. However, they ARE pretty heavy, and on very long days, I've found myself switching to my lighter plastic "spare" glasses after a while. Something to think about.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsy and weird looking, you could do better. I grabbed these because I tried on the Micropores X3 in silver with the reflective lenses.,,,,The X4s are not only HUGE (I couldn't tell that X4 referred to size by the description) they're flimsy and feel like I could break them at any point.,,,,I'm returning these. Moosejaw was patient and helpful, it's not their fault that these are horrid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If you want to really creep out the mothers at the playground, there are few better sunglasses For prescription glacier goggles, there's really no other choice. It's a shame because Julbo puts such nice lenses in to just throw them out, but that's what we poorly visioned folk are stuck with. Relatively comfortably though certainly not like alain mikli's. Great customer service. After your zinc eventually eats through the nose guard, they'll happily send enough replacements for a lifetime for free. The myth buster guy wears these. Just another reason to never wear them off the mountain.
