Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact, Simmer, Durable!!! I received my MiniMo a month ago and love it. Everything fits together perfectly. It's a tight fit but that's what you want! I bought the french press attachment with it (because I can't imagine life without coffee) and even that breaks down and can be stored within the MiniMo. I love the simmer control (who wouldn't). The material seems like its really strong durable quality which should hopefully last me a long time. Great purchase and totally worth the $

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! Bought this for scouting. I am the only leader that drinks coffee so I used this this month on a camping trip and it took less than two minutes to boil enough water for me to make a large cup of coffee. Next investment is going to be a coffee press for it. Can't wait for our backpacking trips to try it out there. I totally recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece of gear My e-mail told me to write a review of this thing but it hasn't been used yet... however I can still write the review because I have used one a few weeks back. I just got back end of Oct from a 5 day 4 night trip to the rockies... my buddy had this piece of gear at that time.. I did not... I had a cheaper stove and a titanium cup. I packed my own not only as a backup but because I hate waiting to prepare my own food. I used my old stove maybe um... 8 times... it was pretty new... cup the same. I was replacing all my old gear last year. See the problem happened when my buddy had boiled water and made coffee... then boiled water and started his dinner... while I was still waiting for bubbles to form to show that my first pot was ready. This was after I started PRIOR to him by searching for where I had misplaced my lighter. We still lit up at the same time because he wanted to brag about his stove... and rightfully so. Built in ignition so you don't need to find the lighter.. and boils in 1/2 to 1/3 the time it took me... tad more stable.. tad more wind resistant.... I came home and immediately bought this thing... there are not many pieces of gear that wow me so much to immediately replace what I have... but this thing is worth it's weight for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kids FTW So sadly, I can't say much about the MiniMo as I bought this as a gift for my step-son. Its part of his Christmas haul. I'm just here b/c Moosejaw said I could win a gift card for saying something. So here it is, I am an awesome step-dad and I totally deserve some MJP for the amazing gifts I give! But in all seriousness, I bought this cooking system after researching current systems untill my browser couldn't provide me any more unclicked links to new content! I'm pretty stoked for my kid!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty close Nice upgrade from my buddy's older Jetboil, I'd expect the burner to become their standard soon. The pot is a good size, handles are nice. However, the weight is actually 15.8 oz on mine and the canister and stove barely fit together inside the pot if you try to use the cloth sleeve. That said, the simmer control is the best I've seen on ANY stove. Solo trip last weekend I swapped out the pot with the .8 liter Jetboil cup (yes they work together). Note, with the new stove base design, you can't easily fit the stove base and a canister in that .8L pot without scratching the pot, but you shave 3 oz and save space while getting great simmer control and efficiency (two boils and a coffee reheat used .3 oz of gas). So, overall- it's a little heavier than stated, and it takes up more room than other kits out there. But the simmer control is amazing and the efficiency/speed is great. Worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is my first camp stove purchase and the first use was for car camping for a week. I did have a bit of difficulty getting the first light but chalked that up to being a newbie with this type of gear. It performed well and man it is fast. It is compact and efficient. Will be looking for more recipes to cook as I do not like the dehydrated meals as much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Well worth the extra money as an upgrade to the original Jetboil. Takes the place of a water boiler, mug, and skillet. After adding hot water to dehydrated eggs I fried them with some coconut oil in the Minimo and they were 1000% better vs just adding water.

I like to cook with two pots. Can I use my regular pot with this stove?

Asked by: BestCampingMeals
Thanks for the question! You will be able to use your own pot, however you will have to hold it while cooking. The stand will not be sturdy enough to support itself. Hope this helps!
