The Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System adds more enjoyment to your favorite outdoor adventure. Like all of Jetboil's innovative systems, Flash is an all-in-one design, combining burner and cooking vessel in one compact unit. Everything you need is stacked and stored inside the 1.0 liter cooking cup. The camping cooking system lights with the click of a button and within two minutes provides two cups of boiling water for cocoa, coffee, instant soup or a gourmet freeze-dried meal. The newly designed burner secures the igniter, protecting it from bumps along the road. The Flash is designed to be one of the safest cooking solutions out there. The cooking cup clips onto the burner, preventing accidental spills, and the fuel canister tripod ensures overall stability. The insulating cozy has a color-changing heat indicator that signals when contents are hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super light, packs small, crazy it I could kiss the friend that recommended it to me.,,So light, it's barely perceivable in my pack. Everything - pot, stove, fuel, pot stablizer, stand, even utensils and foldy bowl - fits in one compact item. No need to fumble with matches or lighters. Just open the tank and click the igniter. A joy for frozen fingers. Water boils crazy quick. The heat activate "it's ready" lines are a nice add, so you don't have to baby sit. Tight fit means no need for a wind shield and base is surprisingly stable. Clean up is a breeze. Pot comes with a sippy lid and handle, so it becomes a nifty little mug for hot beverages or soup while you're sitting at camp

Rated 5 out of 5 by from notes on the new and improved version Differences with the old version:,,multiple color choices,,thermodynamic color changing side panels,,translucent plastic stove instead of black,,small patch on cozy opposite handle (holder for spork?),,stove adjustment is wire gets hands farther from flame and is easier to use with gloves,,lid has a hole for the coffee french press (previous version was solid),,,,Overall this is an awesome stove for boiling water! Its not the super lightest at 15.5-16 oz with fuel canister. You can prob save 5-8 oz by going with a titanium mug/pot and a snow peak lite max, but the JetBoil is much faster to boil and more efficient per fuel cannister!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top 5 Best Gifts EVER! My girlfriend surprised me with this cook system a year and a half ago as a birthday present (I know, she's a keeper). I should mention that at the time I was a happy owner of a MSR Pocket Rocket/GSI Soloist cooking system. In the time since that birthday, the Jetboil has been my go to system. I love how everything fits in the main compartment, I love the integrated piezoelectric ignitor, I LOVE the color-changing flame on the pot cover indicating that the water is near boiling! This system is well designed and built, simple to use and functional for all my camping needs. I can't remember life without it. Thank you, girlfriend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is an extremely light stove, its very durable and easy to use. I haven't used it in the mountains yet, but I've been an avid backpacker for years- I'm quite excited to take it into the backcountry. For years I've used a smaller stove that takes probably 15 minutes to boil the water I need. You don't have to have the Jet boil canisters in particular for this stove which is a little perk. I hooked it up when I first got it to some coleman cans I have and I couldn't believe how powerful the flame was at such a minimal setting- I had barely opened up the flame. I love that it's got its own spark on it- I hope it holds up over the years cause its awesome not having to carry lights/matches. (But I will just in case)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable and fuel efficient, Granted, this stove is not the lightest, but when you account for the total weight of other stove setups (individual parts), including base, stove head, lighter, cookware, etc, you will end up spending 2.5 to 3 times as much for comparable weight and more for trimming down the weight. Another great aspect is that this stove setup is it's complete so you know if any part is missing, no chance of forgetting a critical cookware item back in the parking lot. I have used lightweight MSR stoves and found the Jetboil to to be twice as fuel efficient and FAR less susceptible to windy conditions. The fuel efficiency is a significant weight saver--think about it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An amazingly well thought out product. There is too little space to say how many times the Jetboil Flash delighted me with its ingenuity. Every bit of this stove works together perfectly, so if you are looking for a total cooking system, I'd say that there really aren't any other options. It is extremely efficient with fuel, the boiling indicator is great, and I love how compact it is. There are a few small drawbacks to the stove, but on the whole, I love this thing. It's particularly great if you use a lot of pre-made, freeze dried meals.,,,,Cons: I had to adjust my starter a little bit to get it to work. This stove also isn't the best if you love to cook really elaborate backcountry meals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Backpacking Stove, Totally Worth the Money When I first heard about the Jetboil, I just had to have one...but balked when I saw the price. But, it is so worth it! The best & most thoughtful stove designs I've ever used. Highly efficient with fuel and easy to use & pack (all components nest nicely). Built-in igniter worked like a charm, even in windy conditions. Only time it didn't flame on right away was during a very cold morning...I guess the fuel was too cold? Keeps my pack light...all I need is my just add hot water dried foods & I'm good to need for any other pots, etc. Neoprene cozy is a nice touch, too, so you can hold or move the hot liquids with ease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from STOP BUYING POT STAND I kept reading that I needed to buy the pot stand so I added it to the cart for an extra $15.00. Turns out the Flash now comes standard with the pot holder. I knew the leg stands were in there but not the pot stand. I'll have an extra now but just a heads don't need to buy it separate anymore. I'll go ahead and note the one negative thing about the Flash (blue) is that the neoprene gets super dirty, super fast! First weekend trip and its already covered in stains. Not a big problem for me (I like my gear to look used) but it does seem a little excessive. If you get the black one you probably won't have that problem.
