Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy and stylish - yes please! These are my favorite lounging pants, but I'll also wear them under sweater dresses or longer sweaters for warmth and comfort. They're like grown up sweatpants - love them! I would have given them 5 stars but they tend to wear out in the crotch area, but I like them enough I'm willing to patch them up and keep on using them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want a million pairs I bought a pair of these pants last year and came back for a new pair to start out this winter... because they were the only pants that kept me warm in a harsh mountain winter. I order a size up so that I can fit thick thermals underneath, then I am good outside in temps that are well below freezing. I love the feel of the fabric, the only thing I can say is it snags easily, so be careful around cats!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new cold weather go-to pants! These pants are awesome! They can pass for dress pants with the right top and they are so comfortable! The fabric is a beautiful weight with a nice texture and so, so soft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peerless, comfy wool pants...could be more durable I wore through the rear of my first pair of Tavern pants after three winters of frequent use. It "bums" me out that they aren't more durable, "but" on the other hand I have yet to find a wool pant that rivals the awesome fit, warmth, comfort and versatility of these pants. They are very attractive and super comfy. I'm ordering another pair to have in time for winter and am happy to see more color options now. Ibex, is it "as"-king too much for the same pants with a cool-looking, reinforced saddle area? Perhaps let's stop throwing our expensive clothes in landfills after three seasons?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So right and so wrong These pants feel great and are perfect for Seattle weather. Soft, warm and they shed water. They look great tucked into boots or out with shoes. I've slept in them, traveled and worn them to nice dinners. Alas, they don't last one season for me and I owned 3 pairs for the season and rotated through them. None received excessive washing. Still, all 3 pair wore out along the seams of the inner thighs in one winter season. I am 5'11" 175 and slim through the hips and legs. A size large fit perfectly. I'll try to darn what I have because they cost me over $400 for the 3 pair and they should last a lot longer. I won't buy them again, quality is between good and low.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter is coming... & I am prepared with Izzi tavern pants!! So, let's talk fabric construction. These pants are made out of a fabric that is a boucle like knit. What does that mean? Well, unlike a french terry fabric where the loops are on the inside of the garment, this fabric is knit in such a way that it's loopy all over (like my three year old at 9pm but I digress). This makes it lofty, flexible, and very important in MN winters, WARM. Does it snag? Yes. Is this the nature of this fabric? Yes. Are the snags a worthy price for the amazingness of the fabric and these pants? A RESOUNDING YES!!!! I have no less than 10 pairs of these pants (no hyperbole here). I have them in every color Ibex has ever offered and I don't wear anything else on my legs from late October to early May. They are durable, they don't pill (very important to me since I'm a master knitter and pills are my enemy), comfortable waistband that doesn't bind, flattering cut, and when they *do* snag (which they will eventually like a pair of pantyhose), the snags are easily disguised and repaired. Take a tiny crochet hook (like 0.8mm or smaller), reach inside the pants while holding the hook, carefully poke crochet hook through to front of fabric by the snag, hook the snag, and pull it through to the inside of the pant. Voila! Smooth pants once again. Hey Ibex designers, how about these pants in jewel tones like the vibrant violet shade from 2014?! Please and thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delightful Warm, comfy, presentable. I can even get over the fact that it's not really designed for the curvier end of the athletic spectrum (as in: I have a definite waist), I like it that much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great look! Warm and cozy feel I fell in love with these pants a few years ago before they shipped manufacturing overseas. I was amazed that I could ride my bike to work in November and not feel the chill from the wind. Its conveniently down hill to work. They double as both commuting pants and work pants. They are well made. I feel I can wear these pants and look good but also be really comfortable to the office. No need to bring a change of cloths. I went ahead and bought 4 pair. I actually think they are durable despite my rating. However, after 3 years there is noticeable wear from wearing them bi-weekly to weekly during the late fall and winter months. In a perfect world they would last even longer. I do have outdoor clothing I've been able to wear for many years longer than these with heavy use so that is why I rated them down for durability. I also didn't give a perfect score because I'm 5'8" and I wear the small for the fit in most every way with one exception, the length. They are a tad on the short side. I chose fit over length but I'd love it if they made them a little longer for the medium height, medium build folks like myself.

Are these made in USA? I have a USA pair that is plenty long, but I recently ordered more from Ibex and they were made in Vietnam and 3 inches shorter.

Asked by: Kelly
Hiya Kelly, thanks for your question! Most Ibex pants are made in Vietnam or Canada, however, the Ibex Women's Dolce Pant is made in the US. Hope this helps!
