Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lonnnng Sleeves, But Serviceable Wanted a Woolies 2-weight baselayer, and after reading the other reviews noting that this shirt was not designed as such (only semi-fit), decided to go with a small vs. my usual medium in an attempt to get a baselayer-type fit. This approach pretty much worked, except that the sleeves seem to be designed for a gorilla, i.e. entirely too long, and they bunch up on my arms. I understand that this allows for better freedom of movement, but I maintain the length is excessive and could be shortened without sacrificing functionality over fit. Heavier weight compared Woolies 1 has a nice hefty feel to it. Ibex, please bring back a true Woolies 2 baselayer--fit, not semi-fit! I'm 5'8" 140 lbs with 39" chest, and the Small fits well except for the sleeves as noted above.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shrunken, not saggy. I've owned several of these for a few years now, and have worn them in just about every situation you can imagine. These can be worn by themselves in cool weather, as layers in cold weather, base layer in freezing weather, etc. With a Woolies 1 and one of these on top with no jacket, with a Loden hat and Loden leather gloves, I've shoveled snow in 0-10 degree temps for an hour or more perfectly comfortable. It's just a great all around shirt, comfortable on bare skin too, and durable. I'll probably have the three I own so far, and two I just received for a good 10 years or more. However I have one complaint and one request. The complaint, is that every one of these I have gotten is crazy big. I'm really broad shouldered and big chested but not a big or tall guy. So I normally wear an XL and they rarely fit me well in the arms and stomach/waist, so I don't normally ding clothes for not fitting me right. These though, are humongous. I mean the seams line up for my shoulders, but the rest of the shirt is way too big in every other way. I was able to wash and dry these in hot water and high heat one time, and completely shrunk they fit perfectly lol. That's crazy. My request, is pleeeeeease add more colors. I'd like to wear these pretty much all the time in the winter but I get tired of wearing black, red, and gray all the time. Gimme some orange, blue, brown, something, anything. I'll buy more, I swear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicer than I expected! I ordered this shirt thinking I would surprise my husband with it...Well - I still might, but in the meantime, I plan to use it for myself! I won't be the least bit hurt if he doesn't want it! :) Just love the weight and feel of the shirt. I will keep in mind for the future how much I like Woolies 2!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right for Fall, Winter and Spring I wear mine as a t-shirt on all cool days. Just perfect to ward off the little zing in the air. Perfect for all slightly cool days as a base layer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great layer for colder skiing This Woolies 2 crew is definitely of a heavier weight than my older Woolies 150 crew. It can be used as a base layer or over a more form-fitting base layer (I used it with a UA compression-like fit base layer, and it worked great). No complaints!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great insulation value... If winter activities have you feeling cold and thin-skinned (like our President), this is the base-layer for you. Very warm and durable. Sleeves are perfect length, so to the tail (long enough to tuck in to the ski pants w/o draping significantly beyond your waist. (Don't know why manufacturers struggle with this, Ibex doesn't.) Merino is phenomenal quality against the skin...
