Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent jacket for non technical use Nice jacket. I wish the cuffs had an adjustment on them. Impossible to put jacket on without taking your gloves off first. Jacket isn't that compressible either but it's not exactly the reason I bought the jacket so not a big deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drink a lot of beer and it will fit perfectly I love it! Bought it to replace a vest they don't make anymore. I wore it every day in the colder seasons, I figured it would last forever but it was stolen out of my car. Anyway, I plan on wearing this just as much, same lightweight warmth and softness. The fit might be weird for some, it's got a lot of room in the mid section so if you drink a lot of beer you'll be fine but if you want a slimmer fit I imagine size down. I'm 5 11" 175lbs and a large fits me in the arms perfectly (for me, perfectly is outstreached for cycling) don't care about a slim fit so the bulky middle is fine. Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thoroughly impressed. Recently received my Wool Aire Hoody @ the end of winter/ beginning of Spring. Have not had an opportunity to field test it in really cold temps , but in blustery 30 degree temps it proved to be more than adequate with only a light base layer. Retains body heat quite well . Sleeves and hood fit extremely well .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Odd cut The medium that I ordered fit in the torso just fine but the shoulders and arms seems to be cut too tight for my sort of average 155 lb. 5' 9" body

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket at a Good Price I am 6' and 180 lbs. The arms and body are the perfect length. The fit is a big baggy. I'm not used to that. But for a puffy coat I can deal with the bagginess. I love the cuffs and the color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from just like the trailer... I was looking for a lightweight jacket with a hood. This fits the bill. This jacket is warmer than my Patagonia nano puff and my Marmot softshell. Two things contribute to warmth; the insulating material and minimizing draft. I can't speak to the thermal efficiency of the wool lining vs. the other jackets I have, but it is definitely warmer based on its design and fit. It's cut trim through the torso so there is less air gapping which means greater warmth. I wore this at 33 degrees F with a 10 MPH wind and it was fine with just a long sleeve dress shirt and tshirt without the hood. It's cut longer through the torso so more coverage (more warmth) but also seals off the bottom hem. It has an asymmetric sleeve so that that it covers the back of the hand but does not interfere with your hand. The real key however is the elastic cuff that is inset into the sleeve by 3 inches which really prevents draft but also provides double the insulation around the wrists. The collar sits up high and when full zipped ,in conjunction with the soft insulated hood, acts as a really good neck gaiter and blocks off drafts. Combine that with a close fitting insulated hood if you need it, it is quite warm. It's a little tight to wear with a sweatshirt or sweater for me, but for a single layer this jacket is great. As in the trailer where on a overcast 30 - 40 degree day, the model is standing on the back of a ferry with a stiff head wind, this jacket would keep me warm. I think it is a very functional, minimalistic but stylish jacket perfect for urban exploration.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty great Comfortable, warm, reasonably packable. Hood fits well. The waist could be a bit smaller but the garment is well cut overall. The double cuffs are well designed but make it impossible to pull the sleeves up.
