Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, breathable, great for any task This is one of my favorite items. I have worn it to work over a dress shirt and wool slacks, to the top of a 14,000 ft mountain in December as my heaviest layer, and as a jacket liner under my canvas hunting jacket. It literally fits in anywhere, and stays comfortable in a wide range of conditions. One thing I discovered when I got it is that the boiled wool is felted from an initial knit fabric, rather than from a thick woven fabric, which is more traditional. The result is springy, incredibly soft, and a bit more delicate than your average felted jacket. On top of that, it's made with delicate merino wool. The result has been a jacket that pills just a bit with wear, especially in spots that encounter friction, like on the underside of the sleeves. And not as water resistant as a thick, felt coat. But very soft. The fit is absolutely great when I stand up. I usually run between medium and large, and a large was comfortable for me. Smaller would have been too tight in the arms. Slim sleeves and sleeve openings. Long sleeves and slim body. However, when I sit down and hold my arms up in front of me (for example, when driving), the sleeves feel pretty short, due to the back having no pleats, gussets, or extra room for flex. This makes it look great when you stand and hold your arms low, but limits mobility just a bit. Those are just quirks. This is a great jacket, and I would buy it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great weight wool for late Fall&Early Spring This wool jacket is a great weight for the warmer winter days. It's styling is superb and I like the shoulder fabric contrast as well. The wool is super soft and with a Woollies 2 shirt underneath this is warm enough for many but the coldest winter days. The arms are a bit snug which is why I rated it 4 stars. Since the cuffs are fitted without a button closure it is a little difficult pulling over any under layer. The pockets are nice size with plenty of room for carrying essentials. Overall I like this jacket very much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable jacket I am a 505 tall 135 lb female. I ordered the size small and it fits perfectly! The pockets are nice and deep with enough room for gloves, phone, and my reading glasses! The jacket is very thick and warm, but not very heavy.. I generally buy woman's clothes, but I liked the look of this jacket. I am glad I bought it!
