Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality product, not 100% functional. Nice quality wool product. No leg zippers make it less than 100% versatile. Also, the crotch area isn't as well fitted as other tights I have. In the end, they're sort of fancy, sporty long underwear. Functionally, they are fine as running tights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love 'em! Bought these for my husband for winter running and mountain biking. They were a big hit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps on going... I hate reviews that start with "...I only have used the product once, but..." I have used these tights for 4 years, trail running and cycling in the PNW. Warm regardless of how wet, no signs of wear after years of heavy use. Had a problem with a prevous Ibex product and got immediate satisfaction. Too bad for Ibex these tights are unlikely to be replaced in the near future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Energy Free Tights I waited two years to get these tights because they sold out last year. They are well worth the wait. I use them for nordic skiing and they are the perfect weight and fit. The energy free tight is also great for running and snowshoeing. The ONLY thing I do not like is the connected drawstring. Guess I'm just not smart enough to figure out how to work it!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great for running These tights are almost twice the cost of traditional running tights, yet perform worse in several key areas: The crotch feels (to me) less windproof than other pants. They sag a little in the crotch, and don't fit as snug as most running tights around the waist/hips (and yes, I did have the correct size). The fabric is generally heavier than traditional spandex. No reflective bits. No zippered pocket. All in all, they're not particularly bad, exactly, they're just not that great either, especially considering the cost difference vs. traditional poly/lyrca blend tights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They are awesome! This is my second pair of Energy Free Tights and if they weren't so expensive I'd buy a third. I use them for running, hunting and everyday wear when the conditions are right. These tights are very comfortable, warm and stretchy. You will not be disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from warm underpant nice lounger A good find here. Worn under some equally breathable pants these are a great way to add warmth and comfort. Likely to prevent injury/cramps due to cold muscles? Drawstring is useful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Low rise - rides down Just received, and have only tried on both one their own and with a pair of new Woolies 1 bottoms. My initial take: very nice fabric, more textured than I imagined, and looks very rugged. The problem I'm having is with the fit. I'm a solid men's medium, even a small sometimes, but the rise is way too low. Bending down, and any moving means the waist creeps down in back, which is not so great. The rise on these is lower than the Woolies 1 bottoms. If the rise was higher these would be a real winner. Returning for a size large, just to see if they might work.
