Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice shoe! I really like the light weight and cushioning. However the 7.5 is a little loose even with an extra insole. I've reordered 7 for comparison.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my hokas I use my hoka's for long hikes. At first, I thought the arch support was a bit too high and could potentially be annoying. I broke them in on an 8.1 mile technical hike and I couldn't be happier with the extra arch support. My left ankle suffers from a 16 year old injury which stretched the ligaments and tendons surrounding the talus. These shoes are perfect for when my ankle needs that extra cushioning after the first 5 miles or so. I love the aggressive styling of the shoe and super light weight feel. I'm getting all of my friends a pair for Christmas!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overall product! I thought this was a really good shoe. I just did a 14 mile hike in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio. It had previously rained that morning and occasionally sprinkled/mist on and off all day. I thought the traction on these shoes were excellent (walking on leaves, climbing rocks, etc.). They are definitely waterproof! I walked through mud puddles, crossed streams, trekked through high grass and my feet remained dry. I would also note that these shoes seemed very breathable for being waterproof. I could tell throughout my hike that my feet weren't sweating at all. I thought that they were very comfortable, especially in the beginning. My foot doesn't really have a high arch, so about after 7 miles, my feet were becoming tired. I definitely liked how lightweight they were. It really made walking up hills a breeze! The only negative thing I would say about this shoe is that the shoe is very narrow in the front. By no means would I say I have extremely wide feet or anything, but I did notice that the the pinky toes on both of my feet were becoming extremely raw and I did get some pretty nasty blisters. I think this is because my feet were so smashed in the front of the shoe. I bought this shoe on a whim and I will say that this was the first time I had worn them. I'm definitely not ruling them out because I think that the more use they get, the better my feet will fit in them. All in all, I would definitely recommend this shoe. I gave them a four star rating just because my feet were so sore after the 14 miles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, felt broken in on first wear. I used these shoes to hike during a camping trip and they were comfortable on the first wear. I was worried they'd needed to be broken in first like all my hoka running shoes, nope! They were instantly comfortable and the grip is tough. My feet felt supported and comfortable. I like this color as well.
