Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stinson 3 - going back LOVED the Stinson Lite, so I ordered Stinson 3. Sadly, they changed the design so much that it is not the same shoe. During a recent 10 mile run (my third run in these shoes) I developed a blister in my inner left arch. THIS NEVER HAPPENED in any other running shoe. My neuroma's were fine in the Lites but the 3s caused me pain. Unfortunately, Hoka also changed its Conquest. I bouth the Conquest 2 hoping it would be similar to the original Conquest (which I rean Boston in), but no such luck. If Hoka doesn't clean up their act and return to making a superior running shoe, I will have no choice but to look elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best running shoes I have narrow feet I gott the Stinson they fit to perfection. The incredible cushioned and support bring a lot of comfort & stability. I have plantar fasciitis for years I had try every brand in the market all of theme fail to fit my need. Thanks to the creators of Hoka One I'm able to run again! Best shoes Ever! I do Recommend this shoes to Abosolutely anybody looking for the Perfection of Walking or Running Shoes! I want to get a new pair since I already have the Stinson which I love would like to stay with the same model the only Con is: this particular model only come in 2 colors need variety like the others! Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the same Stinson. I've been running in the Stinsons and Stinson Lites for several years and I've been very pleased with them. Unfortunately, the Stinson 3 is not the same shoe. The rocker feels different and the sizing is not good at all. I have an average width foot and I wear orthotics and the Stinson 3's are far too narrow to accommodate my foot, let alone the orthotic. This was never an issue with the older Stinsons. I appreciate the padded tongue-that was long overdue-and the fact that the Stinson 3's are more breathable than previous versions. Sadly, i can't run in these and they became an expensive pair of casual shoes. I guess I'll be looking elsewhere for my long-distance shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great shoe for hospital work I'm on my third pair of Stinson 3s. I work in a hospital and cover lots of floors, often at quick speed. I also have a chronic problem with one of my Achilles tendons, often quite painful. I park my car a mile from work, to save on parking and for the additional exercise. I am doing about 10,000 steps each day with these shoes. However, after a long day at work, my feet are minimally tired, and my tendon is not acting up too much. My podiatrist is even impressed with this shoe! I go through a pair each year, which I consider is normal wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from jury still out on the fit As a size 5 and 1/2 with one arthritic foot that I've broken and subjected to surgery, I always size up to a 6. I was able to find one trail model in a 6 at one store, after calling 4 others. Felt a little llarge but the salesperson said I had the right amount of toe room. These feel long as well, even with my sprorts insoles, and I have to tie them with some care so my heels don't slip. The strange thing is my toes feel cramped after a few minutes even thought the shoes are long. Not sure if sizing down would hellp the slippage, but then how would that affect my toes. In short, I love the soles, perfect for my arthritis, but not as comfy as I woul like fit wise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the older versions! These are my 7th pair of Stinson/Stinson Lite shoes. I have been a huge fan of Hoka, as they solved my issues with shin splints a few years ago. I love my Hoka's, but I'm not loving the new design. This new pair is rubbing my arches raw! I have blisters on both feet. Despite trying different inserts and different tying methods, I have been unable to make the pinching/rubbing better. I do love the new tongue/upper design. I'm not sure what changed in the fit/stitching, but I won't be able to run in these shoes!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Come Back Comfort! I run 3-4 times a week along with other cardio and strength exercises. I've been wearing Hoka shoes for about 3 years now because of the comfort of their cushioning. When I first tried them, I loved them and decided to get several pairs for fear that their popularity would cause them to begin to cater to the general public, which seems to have less of a need for the extreme cushioning provided by these shoes or that they would sacrifice quality in order to keep up with demand. I'm not sure if these are the reasons, but after ordering and trying several different types, I settled for the Stinson 3. It does still feel better than other brands I've tried, but doesn't compare to the comfort I new from my first 4 pairs. In fact, I can't find a pair that don't result in slight shin splints after 30-60 minutes of running. As I mentioned, this is an improvement, as I've tried all kinds of shoes, orthotics, had doctors and others convince me to purchase things that didn't help and ended up waking instead of running. I'm hoping this brand will find it's way back eventually when the masses move on to the next fad so I can continue to run.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love from the start! I tried the Clifton last season but it was too wide and made my medial ankle ache due to little stability. The Stinson 3 is true to size just like my Brooks. I suffered a stress fracture last season which feels a bit tender at times do I was looking for max cushioning with stability. The Altra Repetition was helping a lot but I felt I needed more cushion alternating running shoes. I ran 3.5 miles the first time and it was a nice ride. Loved that bit of bounce. Then I ran 13 miles outdoors 2 days later. I iced out of habit and prevention but I really didn't have any shin pain. Loving the Stinson 3 so far! I wanted the Constant for max stability but it's too wide a shoe.
