Rated 5 out of 5 by from 90's Rave Throwback Footsaver I love the audaciousness of the Hoka aesthetic! I bought the Stinson 3 ATR at my local running store at my podiatrist's recommendation after seeing him for a Morton's neuroma. He said the stiff sole and metatarsal support is just the thing I need to support my foot and take the pressure off so that they can heal. Normally, I'd only wear them for running/hiking, but have been wearing them non-stop, including to work, due to the neuroma.- A coworker likened them to apparel worn at a 90s rave which I loved to hear! I purchased them in pink and neon green and have found that I can actually work a more quirky angle, dressing them up for a sporty, urban, chic look. I am a trail runner but haven't tried them yet as such as I am waiting for the neuroma issue to clear up. I have no doubt they will do a great job and be super supportive and comfortable when I do. I have to agree with another review commenting about how there is something in the construction of the top of the foot that constricts the toes. I've experienced the same thing - it's odd because they fit and feel roomy, but sometimes I feel like my toes are too constricted and feel numb. I have since gotten a slimmer insole to address my additional metatarsal support needs and that freed up more room for my toes and that seems to have fixed that issue. Overall, very very happy with my first pair of Hokas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoes! I absolutely love my Stinson 3's! They are fantastic on my trail runs! I recently ran my fastest trail times in these shoes, barely felt a single rock or pebble. Never once did I lose my ankle as I have done in other brands of shoes when trail running. Able to go a full 10k without any discomfort (I have not tried any long distances in these shoes yet, but am confident they will be great). The cushioning allows for comfort over rocks and rough terrain and the soles grip well so that there is no slipping due to lack of traction. Because of the Meta Roker I fall more to the midfoot and forefoot which makes the trail running feel easier and faster. However for the down hills the heel strike is also very comfortable without feeling to jarring. I have every intention of trying other makes from Hoka for my road running and trail running. I feel this brand will become my go to shoe!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy again As a sufferer of plantar facia, these shoes are the best thing for my feet, the cushioning is great ( I also need an insert) comfort is great, my dissatisfaction is they broke down to easy ( 4 mo), doesn't matter though , no doctor visits for 4 mo, all in all I got my money's worth,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this shoe I love these shoes. I first tried Gaviota but it was too wide so I sent it back. I read reviews of this shoe and comments all said it was narrower than some of the other styles, so I figured it might work for my narrow foot, and it does! It is a perfect fit for me. I use orthotics, have had a lot of problems with bunions, have had multiple toe surgeries, so have "fussy" feet. (My husband says my feet are just plain "gnarly"). I also do a lot of working out and do zumba four days a week. These shoes are wonderful. I'm 65 and am keeping up with the younger gals in class because my feet don't hurt! Thank you for making a wonderful product. Your return policy is terrific also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely buy again! Please DO NOT change the toe box!!!!!! I luv that they are not so so wide and your feet don't look like you have boats on. I have a pretty wide foot and I feel it's sufficient, but everyone is different . This is my second pair and this brand is just amazing. Luv these shoes don't change a thing!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bring back the old model! I loved my first pair of the Stinson ATR's!! I run a lot of both trail and road & they were awesome for both! I would always get ITBS in my knee and once I switched to Hoka's it hasn't been an issue (3 yrs pain free - thank you Hoka!) But the new Stinson model gives me blisters on my toes. (For the record, I have never had to wear a wide model in any type of shoe.) I have now switched to the Challenger ATR b/c it has a wider toe box & I'm not getting blisters, but I don't love it as much as I did the original Stinson. Please please Hoka fix the toe box issue already so I can switch back!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't fix it if it isn't broken I have been a Stinson ATR fan for a couple of years now and use to rave about them all the time. However, I am not a fan of the newest version. I like the quick draw lace but that is minor. The toe box isn't as big and that is what I loved about these shoes. Especially on the trails and downhill. I ran trails and road in these and constantly had toe nail issues. Never had this problem before. Even had a Hoka rep try and adjust my shoes but it didn't help. I loved the older versions and wish you would go back. Hoping the next version is better but apprehensive to spend my money on another pair. I will though because I am such a huge Hoka fan and can't run without them after foot surgery.
