Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'm Hoping I Start to Like Them! I really, really want to love these shoes. I've found very few shoes over the years that provide that extra level of cushioning I love. Unfortunately, I'm on the fence about these. While they were comfortable to wear, the run was a completely different story. I experienced severe knee and shin pain I haven't in a long time, which is the opposite of what I was expecting. That was after one quick four mile run. I'm going to give them another go and see if it's just that my body needs to adjust to them. I'm hoping for the best, but not hopeful based on my first experience. I'm training for my second ultra and wanted these to be my long-run shoes, but only time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helping me unlock my full potential I've been needed to up my running long distance and this has definitely helped alot. They have helped with the cushioning, and has helped take away the shin splints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe Overall a great road shoe. I think they would be too high for trail-running.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Choice! Great feel, as the dual EVA is noticeable during training. I previously tried a non dual EVA Hoka, which I returned to get these - glad I made the upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FOUND THE ONE(ONE) This is it! The shoe I've been looking for has been found. Just reviewed the Bondi 5, was not thrilled, returned/replaced with Vanquish 2 and what shear pleasure my first run was. Have been running Asics for many years, but always believe that another level of comfort existed. Vanquish exceeded my expectations and I'm now a Hoka believer. Great job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great out of the box for 8 mile run I ran in Nike Pegasus for 20+ years. A friend recommended Hokas to me several years ago so I got a pair of Odysseys. The Hoka lineup has better cushioning-a much needed feature as I have gotten older. This time around I went with a pair of Vanquish2s and they felt great out of the box/no break in required

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will never run in another pair of shoes than hoka Im a marathoner. I cant imagine ever wearing any other type of shoe. Ive tried different types to accommodate my pronation and although some have worked none have worked to this measure. So glad i tried these out!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feeling strange Purchased this shoe after Cliftons 3 gave me blisters on my sole. Felt cushy and didn't suffer anymore hot spots with this one. Shoe felt a little stiffer but that was ok. But.... the construction of the shoe felt ...strange... the toebox was narrow, as usual with most Hoka products, but the heel cup was huge and rather loose. It wasn't a big deal but being used to road shoes that fit my foot snugly, I had to re adjust the laces so that my heel doesn't "swim" in the shoe. Shoe felt a bit on the heavy side but overall good shoe for road use.
