Rated 1 out of 5 by from Underpowered Just got one of these yesterday for an upcoming trip to Canada and am extremely disappointed. I bought it for the sole purpose of recharging my GoPro batteries during this 10 day trip. I drained all my GoPro batteries and it is on its last 20% after only charging 7 batteries and I will probably get 9 or 10 charges out of it, they claim 25!!! I am thoroughly disappointed that I spent $200 for this when I could have got a $40 portable usb charger with 20,000 mAH and got more charges than this thing while saving a ton of weight and bulk. And it also took 2.5 hours to charge a battery, slower than the outlet but that is expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Adventure Necessity! I've been using the Goal Zero Yeti 150 kit for the last four months while bike touring around the US. As someone who works online it is absolutely necessary that I have access to electricity and kit fulfills all my needs. The battery holds enough power for me and the panel is a great way to keep the battery (or my phone) charged up. This, quite literally, helps me live the life I want to live. I've got a couple years left of my tour and I trust that Goal Zero's product will keep me connected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great products from Goal Zero This really should be a multiple Goal Zero review... I have 2 15 W panels, a 6.5 folding panel, and a 3.5 folding panel , a Yeti 150, a guide 10 and a switch 8' 2 light a life's as well as a small fan no longer offered. I use the folding panels to keep my I phone topped off in the car, the Yeti 150 to keep tablets and phone charged in our mountain cabin, the 15 watt panels to keep the Yeti charged. The light a life's have been great for power outages or for night fun on the patio in the the summer months. The small fan is great in my tent while camping when the air is still, or for a bit of breeze reading a book on the deck. Every bit of kit is well made, and performs better than first imagined.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I bought this device last October and have used it several times since then. I love the product! It does exactly what it says it will do, can't ask for more than that! Be aware the product is heavier than it looks, so pay attention to the specified weight if that's a concern for you. It's very simple to maintain, charges well with my Nomad 20 panel and charges iPads and iPhones with ease. I do want to say something about customer service: the first Yeti 150 I received was defective. It wouldn't hold a charge no matter what I did. I emailed customer support and they we're on it right away! I received my new Yeti promptly, paid nothing for the return of the defective unit and have been a satisfied user since! This company stands by their products, so purchase with confidence!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and addition to my first Buy I hose to purchase this yeti package because of reviews from other. Since received I have cycled this a dozen times by running home lights, computers and a small server. Life expectancy was better that expected and the product is very functional as well has the cool factor. I have a small cabin in the mountains and lost power for the night and this little package allowed me to use my phone and ipad and recharge multiple times. The one thing you will need is some sort of case or container that can attach the charging cords to prevent potential loss. I will be adding to my Goal Zero tool kit and will continue to do so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little charger... My cabin is off grid. This is a great little charger. All my Goal Zero products stay fully charged, in addition to 3 LED flashlights. I have a 100 watt panel feeding the 150, which stays fully charged, even after heavy use. Small, compact and functional...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing piece of tech. I am using it as a power source to my hamradio operations. I have a FT817nd from Yaesu. It is a low power radio (5w output RF). It consumes 12.4V and 2amps from the Yeti 150 on transmitting and 12.4V and 0.4amps on stand-by/listening. It gives about 7 hours of constant operation. The Nomad 13 is used to charge it when I am not using it. I place it at the window next to my radio table. It was the best aquisition I made on the last years. No regrets... just fun. Even with low light, the Nomad 13 panel charge the YETI.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Solar Generator The Yeti 150 has been the one product that has at one point probably powered everything I take on a trip. My cell phone, camera, laptop, batteries all have been powered by this versatile solar generator. Whether I am in a tent in remote Russia or on a snow covered beach in Iceland the Yeti 150 has been there and helped power all my camera equipment. There have been many times I will be on a trip with little access to any power source and will have to rely solely on the Yeti 150 to keep my equipment charged. It has really allowed me to continue to shoot images in places that I regularly wouldn't be able to continue to charge gear and other equipment. It is an Goal Zero product that once you have used and had access to power at all times it is hard to ever go back to working without it.

Will it run a C Pap machine and for how long? How long does it take to recharge?

Asked by: Steve
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! This will run a CPAP machine. As for how long - it depends on your CPAP machine wattage. Since CPAPs vary so much, it's hard to give a range, but, if the CPAP was 100 watts, it'd run for about an hour on the Yeti 150, about 4 hours on the Yeti 400 and about 12 hours on the Yeti 1250. This can be charged by using the sun and a compatible solar panel (which takes anywhere from 3-52 hours, depending on the panel), the car (8 hours), or the wall (6 hours). I hope this helps!

Can I plug a small heater and for how long

Asked by: Canon2083
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! So, let me try to break this down as easily as I can, because it can get confusing. The Yeti 150 is capable of producing 150 Wh (that's watt-hour, its a unit of energy, equivalent to one watt (1 W) of power expended for one hour (1 h) of time.) With me so far? Ok. A small portable heater uses about 1.5 kWh. 1.5 kWh = .15 h = fifteen minutes. So, yes, you can use it...but not for a long amount of time. Hope this helps you out!

How long would this power a 25" monitor/tv?

Asked by: Msc76
Hey there, Sounds like someone's planning a Star Wars marathon. Maybe a full session of all three Lord of the Rings extended editions? Either way, how long it will power the monitor or TV actually depends on the monitor/tv itself. All Goal Zero rechargers have a number in their name, like this Yeti 150. These numbers refer to the Watt Hours (Wh), or the amount of energy that can be stored in each battery. This one has a 150Wh battery. I'm really sorry to bring math into this answer but, for example, a 150Wh battery should run a 100W item for 1.5 hours (150/100=1.5).
