Great ItemBought this for my wife this Xmas and she loves it! You can link the Garmin to Phone and receive text messages across the screen and she has been very happy with its performance.
Would this watch be able to track distance, heart rate, and calories burned on a treadmill or a stationary bike?
Asked by: TYSS
Thanks for the question. The Forerunner 35 will work when being used on a treadmill, however it's not 100% accurate compared to outdoor running. It is beneficial to run outdoors with the watch before using it on a treadmill to help it get acclimated to your running style. Garmin has not designed this to work on stationary bikes.

Will this track activity in the backcountry where there's no mobile service?
Asked by: vitalsplease
Hiya vitalsplease, thanks for your question! Garmin uses their own proprietary satellites for their navigation, which work very well. There might be issues with switch back roads or steep elevations but you shouldn't have any problems wherever you go, especially since you don't need mobile service for it to work. Hope this helps!

Are you able to set intervals? I run walk, run 2 minutes, walk 1 minute.

Thanks for the question! I do not personally own this Forerunner, but after reading through the online manual, it looks like you can set interval workouts. I included the instructions below. I hope this helps!
