Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really nice pants After several months of owning this pant I decided to write a review. This is a really nice pant, it is like molded to my body. I can see that much effort is put in designing these. I wrote 4 stars for the following reasons: 1) At first it seems bombproof, but the stretchy material that is above g1000 is really easy to damage. In the woods you will easily damage them as I did 2) Belt eyelets: these are really tight, you literally have to sweat to make belt go through. And I am not talking about some kind of extra wide belt, just a regular belt that goes well with every kind of jeans. 3) water repellency: so do not consider this feature at all, it does nothing! on the other side material dries veery quickly on its own. So pants that retails for 200$, I expect not to have such kind of cons, that seems to be easily avoided

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants! Minor flaws but just my experience! Went down to Arkansas during spring break, had a great time and let me tell you that these pants are no joke! I'm a size 34x32 in US which is about a 50 in EU and they fit perfectly, the only flaw is that one the hooks that can attach to my hiking boots ripped off which is fine but it's something to know when walking on a slope/angle aside from that the G1000 material is amazing, it lasted though a lot and most of all the way they're designed is amazing, stretchy nylon on the crotch and back knee area, and G1000 everywhere else. Great pants definitely worth the money, even though they never claim that the hook at the bottom of the pants wouldn't rip I would like to see improvements in the design on that end, I was able to get across creeks and a river no problem, the water never got through and that was without using actual wax on the G1000 it simply repels water, and also I may add that they are very light. I love these pants! They definitely went through a lot and they have many more adventures to go through!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable pants I own I bought these about a year ago and the quickly became my favorite pants. After wearing them regularly for 3 months a seem came undone in the crotch region as I hopped over a tree. Fjallraven took them, fixed them and sent them back for free. I haven't had an issue since. These pants can take a beating and still look great. The design is amazing. The sections of stretchy material and the G1000 are perfectly placed, and there are two side zips on each leg for ventilation, so they are fairly comfortable even in the summer heat. Overall, I would definitely recommend these to anyone. Hands down my favorite pants for performance and style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy tough pants Third pair I own and like them well. They ran a little bigger than what the sizing chart came up with when I put in my preferences.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great on a snow trip These pants kept me warm without a base layer on a recent winter camp out in Holcomb Valle (Big Bear). Temps reached the low 20's at night. I did not waterproof them and have yet to see how water resistant they are for normal use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good fit & functionality. Fabric needs upgrade I like the zippers that allow for cooling your legs. The placement of the pockets on top of thighs is great- easy to reach and store maps but does not interfere with your stride like pockets located on the side of thighs. At least on rear pocket would have been nice. I also like the use of two fabrics to allow for toughness in high wear areas and stretch/flexibility in other areas. However, a newer fabric technology or different fabric needs to be employed for better waterproofing. Waterproofing was nearly non-existent. I would personally opt for new synthetic fabric that holds the durable waterproofing better. The fit was generally very good, The pattern and detailed attention to fit is exceptional. I did have the front button fall off on the first use and have heard that this is not uncommon. My legs are short but I was able to find a seamstress that was able to shorten the inseam while not disturbing the cuff nor the ankle ventilation zipper. I am still undecided on the belt loops and finishing around the waist. With some adjustment I was able to get comfortable with the hip-carry belt. But reserving judgement on how well the pant design is in this regard. I used the pants on a warm weather multi-day backpacking trip in the Sierras where the daytime temperatures were in the low-80's. Ventilation zippers worked well. Overall, I am generally pleased with the pants. Waterproofing is a weak point I think. I have a jacket that uses wax and it is very effective but the pants were new from the retailer and the waterproofing did not function well. Going to try a different waterproofing application. Not particularly interested in using the wax as it didn't work and would be a dust magnet. If the fabric were to be changed and the front belt loop designed improved so that it doesn't cause discomfort when using a hip-carry belt, the pant would be perfect. So, the short of it is, I would recommend with reservations.

Hi there Sorry just wanted these pants so bad and wanted to see if 52EU was around 36x34? I ordered them since there wasn't any for 34x32 but hopefully it's not too big.

Asked by: zeldfep
Hiya zelfep, thanks for your question! I don't think size 52 is what you want. Size 50 / Regular is the equivalent to 33 - 34 inch waist and 32 inch inseam. Size 52 / Regular still has a 32 inch inseam. I think you'd much rather have size 50 / Long. The size 50 / Long is equivalent to 33 - 34 inch waist and 34 inch inseam. Size 50 / Long can be found here: Hope this helps!

Asked by: zeldfep
Hiya zelfep, thanks for your question! Yes, you are right! Size 50 is the correct choice for you. By the way, there is a link to a helpful size chart located in the lower right corner of the drop down size menu. Hope this helps!

RAW INSEAM: If it says in the Product Description that the pants have a Raw Inseam Length of 34", it means those particular pants do not automatically come hemmed, and that the full inseam length is 34" prior to that being done. Pants with a Raw Inseam Length are great because you can have them hemmed to fit you perfectly, but that is your responsibility to have done.

FIXED INSEAM: If the Product Description says that these pants have a Fixed Inseam Length of 34", it means that these pants already come hemmed. So if you're lazy, like me, you won't have to do anything with these when you get them. Except put them on, of course.
