Rated 1 out of 5 by from i thought these were going to be amazing... So, I bought these pants for my husband for Christmas and was congratulating myself on what an awesome gift I got him. When they arrived they fit perfectly, they had great features and looked to be the perfect pair of pants for all the hiking and back/cross country skiing he likes to do. Now, six months later, he is sitting on the couch next to me, sewing the seams along the hips behind the pockets back together. For the second time, because now the other side has come apart. I really wanted these pants to work out (I mean, come on, for $200 they should be) and have been so dissapointed in the quality. They could have been amazing, except the stitching on the seams keep coming apart. Will never buy anything from this brand again. Sad face.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable pants I own I bought these about a year ago and the quickly became my favorite pants. After wearing them regularly for 3 months a seem came undone in the crotch region as I hopped over a tree. Fjallraven took them, fixed them and sent them back for free. I haven't had an issue since. These pants can take a beating and still look great. The design is amazing. The sections of stretchy material and the G1000 are perfectly placed, and there are two side zips on each leg for ventilation, so they are fairly comfortable even in the summer heat. Overall, I would definitely recommend these to anyone. Hands down my favorite pants for performance and style.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fit, durable, not weatherproof These are awesome pants. They are basically light-softshell pants with reinforced hard-wear areas, and awesome side-zipper vents. I work as a mountain guide and use these on sunny days, because I'm often kneeling, sitting or somehow dragging my behind on abrasive surfaces, and the g1000 reinforcement takes a beating like that. They're not very rainproof, no matter how you wax them. This might have been a comparatively decent approach to rain gear in the 60's, but not in 2016. Great pants if you know what you're getting. A bit expensive though, but it's also a fashion item, so ...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unique pants! I bought these a couple weeks ago after dreaming about expensive Fjallraven gear for a year or so. I sucked it up and got these and a thing of "greenland wax". Before using them, I spend about an hour rubbing wax into the G1000 fabric bits -- lower legs, butt, thighs, etc. I then brought these to Yosemite last week, which was cool, overcast, and drizzly. "Aha!" I thought, "Watch me stay dry and comfortable in these cool looking expensive trousers!!". Well, yes and no. Yes, cool looking. No, not that dry. I didn't get wet underneath them, but the waxed G1000 places sure soaked up water like a sponge -- rain water as well as mist from the pounding waterfalls. At the top of Vernal Falls I glumly noted everyone in standard issue soft-shell pants (that cost half as much as these) was totally dry and I was somewhat soaked (although the water didn't get THROUGH the material). Bottom line -- They look cool, they're comfortable, and have some nice features. But. They're not actually that good technically, and cost way too much. For the actual technical performance, you're better off buying regular soft-shell pants or something similar. I'll keep them because Colorado (my home state!) tends to be pretty dry most of the time. A word on sizing --- I wear a 30" waist in nearly everything. On websites, this should translate to a "46" in Fjallraven sizes. No. No, no no. A 46 Fjallraven is basically a 32" waist. I traded in for the 44 Fjallraven and they fit like a glove. Inseam is about 31" maybe 31.5".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really nice pants After several months of owning this pant I decided to write a review. This is a really nice pant, it is like molded to my body. I can see that much effort is put in designing these. I wrote 4 stars for the following reasons: 1) At first it seems bombproof, but the stretchy material that is above g1000 is really easy to damage. In the woods you will easily damage them as I did 2) Belt eyelets: these are really tight, you literally have to sweat to make belt go through. And I am not talking about some kind of extra wide belt, just a regular belt that goes well with every kind of jeans. 3) water repellency: so do not consider this feature at all, it does nothing! on the other side material dries veery quickly on its own. So pants that retails for 200$, I expect not to have such kind of cons, that seems to be easily avoided

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hiking Pant I have been hiking in these trousers in cool and often windy conditions and find the combination of G-1000 fabric and the lighter, breathable fabric ideal. The lighter material has a bit of stretch as well. The side zippered vents come in handy to cool as needed when necessary. As I have found with other Fjallraven products, workmanship is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The last trekking pants you'll need. I have put these pants through the wringer, and have seen nothing they can't handle...mesquite, rocks, concrete...G-1000 is bombproof and the stretch fabric gives excellent mobility - a best of both worlds. Long lasting and hard wearing, these are the a year-round pant as the two zippers along the legs allow for excellent temperature regulation.

Hi there Sorry just wanted these pants so bad and wanted to see if 52EU was around 36x34? I ordered them since there wasn't any for 34x32 but hopefully it's not too big.

Asked by: zeldfep
Hiya zelfep, thanks for your question! I don't think size 52 is what you want. Size 50 / Regular is the equivalent to 33 - 34 inch waist and 32 inch inseam. Size 52 / Regular still has a 32 inch inseam. I think you'd much rather have size 50 / Long. The size 50 / Long is equivalent to 33 - 34 inch waist and 34 inch inseam. Size 50 / Long can be found here: Hope this helps!

Hiya zelfep, thanks for your question! Yes, you are right! Size 50 is the correct choice for you. By the way, there is a link to a helpful size chart located in the lower right corner of the drop down size menu. Hope this helps!

RAW INSEAM: If it says in the Product Description that the pants have a Raw Inseam Length of 34", it means those particular pants do not automatically come hemmed, and that the full inseam length is 34" prior to that being done. Pants with a Raw Inseam Length are great because you can have them hemmed to fit you perfectly, but that is your responsibility to have done.

FIXED INSEAM: If the Product Description says that these pants have a Fixed Inseam Length of 34", it means that these pants already come hemmed. So if you're lazy, like me, you won't have to do anything with these when you get them. Except put them on, of course.
