The Exped Mega Mat 10 Sleeping Mat is mega big, comfortable and warm, and an awesome sleeping pad for any endeavor that allows for an extra bit of weight. This Exped sleeping pad features Smart FlatValve Technology which includes two flat valves, one for inflation and one for deflation, and one-way flaps on the valves prevent air from escaping during inflation. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes it is worth every dollar, so stop whining about the price. After spending my nights on an offering from a rival manufacturer I have to admit that being "cheap" when it comes to the quality of rest you get after a hard day on the trail is the wrong way to approach this. Yes it is expensive, yes it is worth every dollar.,,So normally I start thinking about dinner at some point in the afternoon, but now I start thinking about laying down on my EXPED. On multy-day trips this going to a game changer.,,But, and it`s a big BUT, this mat is not suitable for backpacking, unless you have a sherpa carrying your gear, or mule or maybe a moose. It`s big, it`s comparably heavy, but...,,Get a sherpa already, it`s that good. See you in the morning with a smile on my face.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Comfortable Mat ever made If you want complete comfort, warmth, and sleep like a king. But this baby. The R value is incredible keeping the cold ground away from your body. I love this mat. The mat is around $200. How much would you pay for the warmest most comfort sleeping experience in your camping history? Trust me you will never need anything else. The ease of inflating and deflating, adjust comfort ability, and easy transport make this mat an incredible value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfy sleeping pad! I love this sleeping pad. I took it on a road trip while staying at friend's houses and it was far more comfortable than any couch or futon. And I finally managed to take it car camping, and it was the talk of the campground. It is extremely comfortable and warm. The self inflation set up is a breeze, and putting away is easy once you get the hang of it. Every camper in my family wants one now! The downside, is after getting two of these, it does not fit any of my 2 person tents so now I will have to invest in a bigger tent unless I want to camp solo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sleep ever! I have had this mat for 2 years. When car camping or snow camping using a gear sled, the Mega Mat 10 is the most comfortable mat made. It is wide enough to move around a bit and adjusts to sleep comport. The R-value is 9, so it is about the best insulated pad Exped makes. Hence, perfect for snow camping where payload is not an issue. I can honestly say that sleeping on the ground can be either the worst part of camping or the best, depending on which pad you buy. If you have the Mega Mat, it will be the best sleep ever. My only complaint is that 77 inches is too long for the average two person tent. I just purchased the Exped downmat 9 TT medium because I needed the shorter mat to fit in my usual tent. The MegMat forced me to buy a bigger tent than I am used to using. Since I prefer my old tent, the Big Agnus Fly Creek, I bought the Exped DownMat 9 TT meduim to use because it is 72 inches long and will easily fit in my Fly Creek. Otherwise, if you camp in larger tents, the MegaMat is best. Most tents have sloping walls and even though many 2 person tents are 77inches like the MegaMat, the wall touch the mat as they slope upward. This is a problem when there is moisture on the walls. If you don't use a backpacking tent to car camp, the Mega Mat. It is worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best car camping mat on the market! I have sleeped on this mat for over a year. Holds it air for months; no leaks. When my wife was having back pains due to her pregnancy; I let her use it. It took her pain away. We call it the "girlfriend", because it feels so good. It's the Sleeping pad that feels like a high end bed mattress. Super warm. Best mat money can buy and I have bought 4 of them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable...but This is the most comfortable mat I've slept on...yes expensive, although I got a comparatively good deal on Moose Jaw. People should be aware however that Exped recommends it be stored inflated.
