Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very flattering I bought this hat for a recent trip to Hawaii and I just loved it. It's a super cute hat and the fit was flattering for my roundish face. Great for a few longish hikes I did on the Big Island, and the fit was secure enough I could also wear it on the boat to dive sites. Plus no bugs! Wish I'd had it for my trip to Botswana a few years ago.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OLD HAT DESIGN IS BETTER This is my second Exofficio Adventure hat. The light weight nylon is comfortable and durable. They last forever. I do like the old style two tone brim (top vs.bottom) and the old traditional stitching simulating a hat band much better than the new monochromatic color and funky stitching. I really liked the old hat’s uniform shapeless brim drape. The new hat apparently replaced the plastic cord at the edge of the brim with a stiff metal wire similar to a coat hanger. Now you have a “bonnie” hat that looks like the brim is a size larger than the rest of the hat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking and practical hat I have used my bugs away clothing on many trips. I have never had a bugs away hat before, and have not had a chance to use this one. However, it is very nice and more fashionable than I expected because the brim can be molded into many different shapes. I ordered a large because I have a big hat and lots of hair and it fits fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps the sun out of eyes Haven't used it much yet, but it's a nice hat. Love the cigar color and the wire in the brim that allows it to be shaped. It seems to run a bit big, I got the sm/med.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT hat This is our 6th hat order! That must mean something? OH, and there's three of us- two hats apiece. ;-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, packable hat I love this hat. It's comfortable, flattering (I think!), light, and easy to bring along. I lost my previous one somewhere :(, so ordered two new ones in different colors. Couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hiking Hat I bought this hat for a recent hiking trip in Yosemite and I couldn't be happier. It kept what bugs there were away from my face, it is very light and comfortable and it provides great sun protection. About all that I would like to see added is a bit of ventilation. I especially like the ability to shape the brim and have it stay where I put it. I'm off to Joshua Tree NP in a couple of weeks and this hat has become one of my hiking and camping essentials.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Field-tested in Brazil I bought this hat to travel to Brasil; turns out we did not travel in Zika country, but still encountered mosquitoes. Have also used it in Black Fly country of southern Quebec, and in Tibet, as well as here at home in Nebraska. Excellent at keeping flying bugs away; when it gets too intense (black flies!), it's so easy to drop the net and get your ears and neck covered. The neck strap works to keep it on in strong wind. Sadly, I lost it in Tibet, so bought a new one when I got home.
