Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Just For Traveling I originally bought mine to squeeze down my heavy clothing while traveling in Scotland in the fall. I had a 22" Switchback Max and nothing else so space was at a premium. I waited to buy my sweaters once I was there because I was dying for Scottish wool and Shetland sweaters. Once I got home I just didn't unpack the sweaters. They reside in my compression bags to protect them from moths. If you have precious wool or cashmere, you need these bags. They are tougher than Space Bags or Ziplock. You can get rid of the air without the need of a vacuum cleaner (I have wood floors so I don't own one).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Product That I Can't Travel Without My husband and I have used both Med. and Large Compression Sacs whenever we travel anywhere! We took them for backpacking in Europe, our honeymoon in Thailand and around the nation whenever we pack a suitcase. My favorite use for it in the Bay Area is to compress my down parka making it possible to fit in our day pack for all-day hiking trips or adventures into San Francisco (When the fog rolls in the temp. drops by at least 10 degrees!).They are great for making room for souvenirs and separating dirty clothes from the clean.Thank you for making a product that I truly can't travel without!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are amazing! I live out of my duffel bag for 6 months of the year traveling for work. I change hotel rooms every 2-3 days moving throughout Europe. These make packing up every couple of days much easier and instead of blowing zippers apart, I easily pack it into my duffel bag. When your job is to be on a mountain most of the day, you travel with many jackets and these bags make it possible. The only problem with these is that it makes it far too easy to pack your duffel over 50lbs for air travel!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still going strong Initially I bought the L/M set for relocating but found that it stores items well with no issues at all. I plan on buying the S/M/L set for my emergency preparedness bag. The concept is simple and so it the operation: stuff, zip, roll out the air. I found no cons so far even after using these for over a year. Great value!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Bulky Items Wow! My husband and I are heading out on a beach vacation soon and I am determined to learn to pack smarter. Since we will be flying getting everything, including beach towels, into our carry on luggage seemed impossible. Enter Eagle Creek. A Rick Steves blog suggested them. I ordered these bags thinking I didn't have much to lose. I was wrong. I lost a ton of bulkiness in my suitcase. I put two beach towels in the the large bag and followed the directions. POW! Flattened them down to a quite manageable size. Thank you, Eagle Creek.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these!!! I absolutely love these, have used them for years and years, and don't leave home without them. They have so many uses when traveling -- compact bulky clothes, like sweaters, so everything will fit in the suite case, help protect clothes in from spills & leaky shampoo, I have even packed fragile items wrapped in clothes in these compression bags and hauled them back in check-bag from around the world. These are my must-have, can't live with out, #1 go-to travel item for packing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compression Sacs that work I was introduced to these compression sacs about 12 years ago. I travel on a motorcycle and they really work to compress clothing, allowing me to pack more for a week long bike trip. Great product and lasts. All but one of the original 4 sacs I bought 12 years ago still work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but could be better. I think they work well, my only problem is the valves that let the air out are right at the end of the clothes compartment. When I roll the compression sac the clothes compartment covers the valves so that it is hard for the air to be let out. I always feel that not all of the air is out because I have to compromise for the valves being so close to the clothes being compressed.
