Rated 5 out of 5 by from super warm, well designed, and fashionable as a bonus You can never go wrong with Canada Goose brand, and once again this parka meets Canada Goose's high standards for warmth even in the most extreme weather. I work in emergency management in North Dakota, and I have never been disappointed (or cold) in this parka....even in blizzards. The design features on this jacket are impressive. the phone pocket on the sleeve keeps my phone handy and easily accessible. The inner drawstings keep cold air out, and the tunnel hood keeps the wind off my face...a crucial feature since wind chill temps in nd reach 100 below zero. For these and numerous other reasons, this parka is well worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I am a freeze baby. A really, really bad freeze baby. 70 degrees means pants and a long sleeve shirt for me (maybe I need my thyroid checked). So with living in northern Wisconsin, this poses a bit of a problem for me since we "enjoy" winter for about 6 months out of the year. This cold climate I live in also apparently prevents money from growing on trees, so the thought of spending this amount of cash on a jacket was a bit unnerving. I am glad I did--this is the warmest jacket I have ever owned. Very cute--perfect length--and great color (Arctic Frost).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Wild still lingered in her... "The Wild still lingered in him and the wolf in him merely slept." Jack London - I bought this for my wife. She won't take it off, literally, there are "butler straps" built in to the parka that you allow you to sling the parka over your shoulders, the fur encrusted carapace draped as a trophy across your shoulders and back, rendering you insensitive to criticism or the more likely oohing platitudes of the gawkers "my gawd you're wearing Canada Goose!" when you're standing at the bar ordering a Mountain Sun/Odell/Avery/Twisted Pine/River North pint. She is... unimaginably hotter in this parka. The soft, beautiful and hot feminine side of her safely ensconced in the best shell on earth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This jacket actually does what it says it does!!!! Trying to find a parka that is warm and doesn't make you look like a marshmallow is not easily accomplished. I was skeptical when I bought this parka, in part because of the price and because they stated it was warm and slim fitting. I received my parka and immediately noticed the exceptional workmanship of this product. It is extremely warm and not bulky. The hood was big on me, but as soon as I adjusted it, the fit was perfect. The coyote fur trim is awesome and kept the wind off my face I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It was zero when I went to work this morning, I was toasty warm and still looked fashionable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy again!! This is a jacket that will keep you warm during those cold winter months. I am from Minnesota and a person who gets cold easily so staying warm while adventuring with my huskies is a must. I am 5.7 and 125 lbs and the medium fits great, I probably could have bought as small but wanted the freedom to move and to be able to layer. Some awesome points about the jacket...,,1. The jackets construction is wonderful.,,2. The hood is very deep.,,3. The zippers are heavy duty.,,4. The buttons are a beautiful detail and easy to work with while wearing gloves.,,5. The lining is soft.,,6. The fur trim is fluffy and keeps the falling snow off my face.,,All in all, great jacket that will last many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Warm and Well Made I needed a new parka for our cold New England winters, and Canada Goose came highly recommended. I couldn't decide on a color based on online photos, so I ordered a red one and black one so I could compare. I've decided to keep the black one, because it's much more versatile and has more of an urban look, while the red one looked more like I walked in from the ski slopes. The quality of this parka is outstanding. It's lightweight, but very sturdy... it will last many years, I'm sure. I love all of the pockets, including one with a hole to accommodate earphones. And most importantly it is very warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get what you pay for.. So, I'm not hard to please, but I can say this.. As a desert native in Maine (in the middle of winter), I am toasty warm in this coat. The quality is apparent in every aspect of the construction. It covers my butt and the hood completely blocks the subzero wind gusts. There are no slanted, standard waist hand pockets, but there are bucket type pockets in the front waist area and also vertical breast pockets. In reality, if you are in temps cold enough to wear this coat, logically, you would be wearing serious gloves anyway. This coat is seriously warm, but still flattering to the feminine figure.

My wife is 6'0", slim figure, (145#'s or so) and has a hard time finding ski wear. For skiing, she has typically had to settle for a men's med slim fit. Do any of the winter parkas have extra long sleeves/torso without being huge around the middle?

Asked by: Sknight
Hiya Sknight, thanks for your question! I have a similar problem. Buying one-piece swimwear is next to impossible. I feel your wife's struggle! Have you seen the Mountain Hardwear Women's Barnsie Jacket? It has pretty long sleeves. Or the Moosejaw Men's Mt. Elliott Insulated Waterproof Jacket? It is available in tall sizes, however, it will have some extra room around the waist. Check them out here: Mountain Hardwear Women's Barnsie Jacket http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_Mountain-Hardwear-Women-s-Barnsie-Jacket_10282851_10208_10000001_-1_ Moosejaw Men's Mt. Does Canada Goose has the color 'torch" in this style? I didn't find this color on its official website.

Asked by: KEKE
Thanks for the question! Yes, "Torch" is an official color of Canada Goose. I did confirm they have sold out of that option on their website - which is why you won't be able to see it. It is a Fall 2016 color. Hope this helps!

Canada Goose Warranty Information

Every Canada Goose product purchased from an Authorized Retailer is fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product - which means the usual and customary wearable life of the product, by the original owner. If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, Canada Goose will repair the product free of charge, or replace it at their discretion. If the exact style is not available for replacement, a product of equal value and similar style will be provided.

Any repairs needed due to accidents, improper care, negligence, or normal wear and tear are not covered under the Canada Goose warranty. Please note, this warranty is void if the inside garment tags are removed. For any damage not covered under the Warranty, Canada Goose may offer to repair the damage for a reasonable charge. If this is the case, it will be discussed with the consumer prior to any repairs being made.

Note: In accordance with their Health and Safety Practices, Canada Goose requires that your item must be freshly cleaned. If your item has not been cleaned before it arrives they will be happy to clean it for you for a nominal charge, which they will confirm with you first.

For inquires regarding Canada Goose warranty, visit their website at www.canadagoose.com or call 1-888-276-6297.

How do I submit a Warranty/Service claim?
Visit www.canadagoose.com and create an account or login. From there, click on the warranty and repairs icon where you'll be given details for next steps.

What does "Lifetime of the Product" mean?
Canada Goose products are fully warranted, to the original owner, for the practical lifetime of the product. The practical lifetime of the product is not equivalent to the lifetime of the owner.

What is "normal wear and tear"?
Canada Goose manufactures every product to meet their standards, but no matter how carefully you use and care for your Canada Goose product, nothing lasts forever. Gear used every day in the harshest conditions will degrade faster than someone who only wears their product once or twice per year. Eventually every product will begin to show signs of age and wear such as faded fabric or frayed cuffs, Canada Goose will take this into consideration when assessing your warranty request. It may be that your product has simply reached its practical lifetime and is time to be replaced.

What isn't covered under warranty?
When you're busy chasing adventure, Canada Goose recognizes that accidents can and do happen. Although not covered under warranty, tears, rips or other damage to your Canada Goose product can be serviced through their repairs department for a reasonable cost. Improper care or negligence, such as storing your product while wet, keeping it sealed in an airless environment, or not following the care instructions on the contents label inside your garment will result in damages that are not covered under warranty. If Canada Goose is unable to repair the product to working condition, you will be notified and other options may be given.

Do I need to clean my jacket before sending it in?
In order for Canada Goose to service your claim, your item must be cleaned before it arrives. This is for the protection of their staff and in accordance with Health and Safety Standards. Any product that arrives unclean will be subject to a cleaning fee of $25 - 45 CDN (depending on care instructions) before inspections can be made, which will also delay the processing of your claim. To learn how to properly clean your product, please visit their Product Care page.

Will tailoring or altering my Canada Goose product void the warranty?
Canada Goose will still provide warranty service to any un-altered area of the product. Please note that you should never remove the tags from inside the garment as it will void the warranty. Valuable information is located on these tags, which are needed to process your claim.

Does Canada Goose provide alterations?
Unfortunately, Canada Goose does not offer custom alterations or modifications at this time.

Will Canada Goose repair or replace my product?
If a Canada Goose product fails due to a manufacturing defect, they will repair the item at their expense. If the product is not repairable, or the cost of the repairs exceeds the value of the product, at their discretion, they may choose to replace the product instead.

I've got a question about my claim, who can I contact?
You can reach out to a Canada Goose Customer Experience Specialist to check on your claim via the online communication tool within the warranty section or via telephone at 1-888-276-6297.

How long will it take to get my product back?
Canada Goose aims to have your product back to you as quickly as possible so you can get back to exploring the great outdoors. The typical turn-around time is 30 business days from the time your product is received by them to the time they ship it back to you. Please keep in mind that fall/winter is the busiest season for warranty and repair service.

How much will it cost to get repairs done?
For any repairs covered by their Warranty Policy there is no charge to you. Non-warranty repair costs will vary, depending on the materials and length of time required. Once Canada Goose has received and assessed your product, you will be contacted regarding repair options and costs (if applicable).

Who handles shipping costs?
Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping items to Canada Goose, and Canada Goose will cover the return shipping costs. Please ensure that you ship the product using a carrier that can provide you with tracking information and proof of delivery. You are responsible for your product until it has been signed as delivered by Canada Goose.
