Rated 4 out of 5 by from Screams quality, but only for the slim... Great parka; very well made and toasty warm. Down feels softer than the 625 rating suggests, probably because Canada Goose is quality and doesn't misrepresent. When I wear this jacket I feel I am prepared for the next ice age.,,,,One thing to note: When they say this is slim, they aren't joking. I'm a slim guy, though with reasonably broad shoulders. I wear medium or small in most brands. Medium here is almost too tight on is very, very narrow -- especially at the waist. I also tried a large but the sleeves were way too long... so kept the medium and keep telling myself I better not gain any weight.,,,,All in all, I'm a huge fan.,,,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Canada Goose!!! Great Canadian Product!!! Given live in Toronto such a -50 C COLD place in winter, I'm always looking for a coat to keep myself warm. I have The North Face, Moncler, and Adidas, none of them really worked out!!! They can't defend the chili wind at all!! My friends recommanded Canada goose, not only its stylish and well known quality, but also really keep your warm even walk outside for a long period of time! The fur hood is a big big plus, so pretty!! The only thing I dont' like is the PRICE!!! I've to admit Canada Goose prices itself so expensive (Even if Moncler is more expensive...), but you will find out it worths your hard earned $$$$. And I bought it from Moosejaw since it always have some kind of speical, keep eye on it and you should get a good deal!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a Great Jacket that keeps you warmer than a fat man in a Sauna after 3 hours This is a great jacket for those cold weather months and for those of us living in the dreary land of the North where it gets very cold and a jacket is more important than anything else in avoiding frostbite and other cold weather ailments. This is especially important for someone like me who lives in Manhattan and spend most of my time traveling from location to location outdoors.,,,,This jacket fits pretty slim so plan to order accordingly. Although many of the Canada Goose jackets in my experience tend to run roomy and pretty big, this jacket runs much slimmer, so I would order your regular size for this model. ,,,,A great warm jacket, that is definitely worth the money. Today it was 4 degrees F outside and this jacket kept me nice and toasty along with my Canada Goose Hat.,,,,But this jacket!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome mix of form + function + quality Duck down insulation makes it toasty inside. The cuff is elastic so wind doesn't get all up in your arm's business. The hood's coyote fur lining looks great + feels amazing. ,,Best part though is it's a tough parka that looks great. 6'2, 170lbs, M fits great even with a sweater underneath. ,,,,I won't be taking this up mountain climbing; that's what my super-packable MH Subzero SL parka is for. This is great for around the ski areas and pre-14'er climb warmth/looking awesome. Not that this couldn't take the abuse.,,,,Great mix of tough/warm/stylish. There are better things if you're ONLY interested in function though, like the Subzero SL parka, or the Canada Goose Snow Mantra (I hear).,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice warm coat I LOVE this parka, it's just perfect. This model is longuer than the bomber one so it keeps your thighs warm. I love the hood because it's big and protect all your face from the weather if it's really cold or snowing heavily.,,,,Little remark: pay attention to this one. If you have some extra weight, you might take one size bigger as this parka have a more slim fit than the other Canada Goose.,,,,By the way, thanks Moosejaw for the shipping. The parka was perfectly packed in a plastic bag inside a large box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great parka from a great company Get this jacket! I just got it a few days ago and have already worn it outside. It is very warm. I only wore a tee underneath as a test and it has passed with flying colors. This jacket looks so sweet. I just can't stop staring at it. Although it looks great, I just wish Canada Goose didn't use real fox/coyote fur for the hood trim. It is also surprisingly light and can be easily folded up and stored away after the cold season is over. It runs a little big, though, so I would recommend everyone to order a size down. I'm 5'9 170lbs and I usually get medium for jackets, but the medium for this jacket was a tad big. I had to re-order a small and that fits me much better. Remember, this jacket is a slim fit and is supposed to feel a little snug when you wear it. Also, if it goes past a quarter of the way down your thigh, it's probably too big for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I regret nothing I purchased this parka a couple of weeks ago. I live in D.C., and I immediately wondered (after clicking checkout) if it was a practical purchase for the mid-atlantic. Well, it was. It's warm, it fits perfectly, it looks good, and people compliment me on it all the time. Fit is perfect for me - 6'2", 180 - lean fit build. The graphite color is great. Having it for the 2016 east coast snowstorm (and the really cold week that preceded the storm) was appreciated - just get it. You can get this one, or you can buy a bad cheap coat you hate every season.

Im interested in purchasing one of the chateau Canada Goose Jackets. Im a 6 feet, 260 pound weightlifter former football player. I have a size 52 chest. Wondering if I should get my normal 2xl? Or go with the 3XL. I just dont want to float in it Any help?

Asked by: Sean
Hiya Sean, thanks for your question! Since this parka has a slim fit, I would suggest sizing up to the 3XL... especially if you plan to layer underneath it. If you prefer a snug fit and you plan to just wear a t-shirt underneath, you might get away with the 2XL. You can purchase both sizes and return the size that doesn't fit and/or check out the "What's my size?" function on the Canada Goose website. You can find that function above the drop down size menu here: Hope this helps!

I'm 6'3 about 200 pounds. Which size jacket should I get?

Asked by: JasonVL
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! The Canada Goose Chateau Parka has a slimmer fit compared to other Canada Goose parkas and typically runs true-to-size. You can use the True Fit Size helper on the product's page on our site to help determine your best suggested size. Based on your given measurements, it seems that you would most likely choose a size Large, but you can double-check because there are other deciding questions that might change the size recommendation. Hope this helped out!

What size coat should I purchase for a 5'10 height  person weighing  around 178 pounds?  Thanks!

Asked by: coolgirl82
Thanks for the question. I would go with a Large on this one. I had someone who was 5'10" and 175 try it on in Medium and it was a bit tight.

What size coat is perfect for a 5'9 height  person weighing  150 pounds?  Thank you.

Asked by: childishen
Hey there, This jacket is a slim fit so I would suggest ordering the size closest to your measurements (chest, hips, waist, etc) on Canada Goose's sizing guide. If you are between sizes you will most likely need to size up due to the snug fit of this jacket.
