Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shut off the dripping as intended Brought this after having a bad experience of water dripping from the overhead compartment in the flight. I am using the old reservoir which does not come with the shut off function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Basic Product This does a great job of exactly what it's supposed to do. I have this with the Big Bite Valve Cover and it works great for stopping water flow so you don't get any water drips. My only complaint about any of these items is that they should all be included with any of the Camelback reservoirs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Say goodbye to ol' drippy!! I absolutely love this product. After spending many years dealing with soaked floors/wet fridge/soaked shirts… drip drip drip. I had enough. I use my camelbak for almost every occasion. From hikes to yard work. I would recommend this product highly. Save yourself and your water. I promise you will thank yourself for buying this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much appreciated not having water drip on me anymore The Camelbak bite valves inevitably fail over time. I think mine went through too many freeze/thaw cycles while being stored in the home freezer. So it started dripping while in use. For onyl a few bucks I used this valve to plug the leak and provide a little sanity while storing the pack in transit. It sucks when a bite valve is depressed by the weight of a pack and you get to the trailhead with a soaked ruck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great if no one is teething I've used this product for years with little trouble. Occasionally one would wear out and need to be replaced, but I always felt like they lasted for many miles on the trail. It keeps the back of the car dry on the way to the trailhead and then is easy to open once I need access to water. ,,,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest invention ever for camelbacks Everyone should get one of these cause no one wants water leaking all over your pack!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps my mouth wet and my butt dry I wouldn't say I'm clumsy, but I also wouldn't say I've never sat on the bite-valve of my Camelbak Omega reservoir. The original valve lacks the awesome HydroLock feature, and any time I sat on the valve when taking a break on the trail, I'd end up with a wet behind and an uncomfortable walk. Problem solved! Also, the right angle of the valve in relation to the hose makes it much easier to drink on the move. I can keep the hose behind me and still drink without getting tangled up. A really great addition to the Camelbak.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from more convenient than your little finger Camelback makes some terrific gear but this is not one of them. The main issue is that the shut off lever is simply inserted into the unit, so falls out fairly easily. You can lose your water and/or get wet. This is one area I think Platypus has done a better job.

CamelBak Women's Packs

CamelBak backpacks are designed and built to fit an array of body types and sizes. Adjustable should straps make their backpacks suitable for a torso size range, and that info can be found in the PRODUCT FEATURES and / or SPECIFICATIONS. You can use the steps below to determine your torso size.

CamelBak hipbelts are adjustable to accommodate most any wearer.

CamelBak's women's packs offer a women's specific design that features a shorter back panel, and S-curved harness for a closer fit.

HOW to MEASURE TORSO SIZE
1. Put your chin to your chest and feel for the big bone protruding on your neck at the top of your spine. That's the C7 vertebra.

2. Feel your hip bone, the top part of this is your iliac crest. Find the spot on your back that is level with the top of this crest.

3. Have someone measure the distance between these two points, following the contours of your spine.
