Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight, Durable, Useful These poles replace another brand I have to use daily due to a disability. They collapse with ease and have scaled markings where both adjustable clips can be set to a desired length. My only complaint is that a thicker grip could be had for these poles. However, they do grip with confidence. Coupled with the Trekking Pole Tip Protectors (recommended below) that both reduce noise on concrete/rock, and reduce slipping on marble/linoleum, they are very beneficial for daily use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Basic Poles these poles are an excellent buy! They are much more affordable than many of their $150 counterparts and still fill the same exact function, to help you navigate the back-country. They are a bit on the heavy side compared to some other poles but honestly you would never know, it's not like the fractions of ounces make a huge difference to things you will be carrying in your hand anyway, and for close to half the price I take the weight! The grips are comfortable, not luxurious, but comfortable and the black diamond flick locks are arguably the most secure locking mechanism on the market. The straps could be more comfortable but again the price justifies all of it. They are a bare bones set of poles that will handle some serious abuse without breaking the bank.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from all-around good performer I'm a new trekking pole user, but I bought these and I've used them several long days already. The weight might be a little heavier than some others, but I don't know how much difference a few ounces make on your arms when using anything is better/easier than using nothing. They're more sturdy that some of the lighter and more expensive ones that I've played with. The grips are the only minor shortcoming. They're perfectly fine 90% of the time, but when I got super sweaty on a long hike on a hot summer day, I had to wipe my hands several times. I'm not sure

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lot of research, first set of poles. I read a LOT of reviews on different sites and chose these trekking poles because of their average ratings and because I found them at a great price at Moosejaw. There are a tiny bit heavier than some of the closest comparisons, but overall, they were the best choice for me. They work well, have solid clamps on the height adjust and pack small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scouts Poles of choice A few years ago while winter walking I injured my knee and on the advice of a friend decided to purchase a set. While everyone else seems to opt for the main brand I liked the look of these and they haven't let me down and my knee injury has since cleared up but I won't go trekking with out these now and they have become part of my go to kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best quality/price comparison I used these poles in trekking through the Alps. They helped me a lot with long transitions. I recommend them for several reasons: - Durable material and locks - Comfortable grips - Adjustment length - Good weight (for this price) - Compact storage - Optimal for beginners - Great price at Moosejaw It's best choice for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Well I bought these about a month ago and have used them once. The extension locks worked well and straps were easy to adjust. But I can't advise on the durability of the locks or the poles themselves since I've only used them once.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't wait to get on the trail I bought these to hike the application trail but until then I can use them to get through my teenagers clutter. Witch I believe is more dangerous.
