Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome reserve stove for camping During the last camping trip, I used this to boil water while cooking with my other stove, which is propane powered. Made for a very easy prep for breakfast, and dinner. I wasn't sure if I made the right choice in stoves, but this thing really surprised me in how little readily available fuel it used to get the task done. I don't regret the purchase and tell others about it every chance I get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice features for camping Used this for a two night stay in Logan canyon. Fuel for this is everywhere and it didn't take long at all to have 1.5 liters of water boiling hot. Haven't used the grill yet, but I figure I will soon enough for the next outing. Used a plastic bag to put the power unit in to store it in the burner section. Everything about it is just what I need for tent camping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trial test run at home soon field testing what an awesome idea I saw this on kickstarter about 4 years ago I knew I would own one some day... and that is now!!!! :D I did a trial run of the stove at home and it boiled water in roughly 3 minutes.... minus the grill everything packs really well in the kettle. now talking about the kettle it is great one you have your fire going you are able to start adding sticks to the fire without even having to remove the kettle. lots of though went into this design Thank you BIOLITE! keep up the good work!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from When I received this stove, I couldn't wait to try it out. It burns fuel pretty quickly ( to start with small twigs) once a good bed of coals is acquired, larger pieces can be added which of coarse, burn slower. You pretty much have to keep adding fuel quite regularly. The light seems to get power only with a pretty intense fire, and goes out as fire starts to dwindle. Very little heat seems to come from it in area around stove, but it did heat a quart of cool water to boiling in about 10 min. Clean up is pretty simple. ash reside seems to come off pot pretty easily and little ash is left in stove after fire burns out or is dumped. Glad it has a storage bag , to keep the rest of my pack clean. Bottom line... needs a lot of small fuel constantly, power is good , and cook well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and easy to use! I purchased the bundle and was very happy with what I could do with it. It will take a bit of time to find out the best burning material to use, but that does not take long at all. I love the fact that I can fit this all in my Ruck Sack and go miles into Alaska and be able to cook, boil and even keep warm near the hammock with a portable fireplace. I mostly cook with the boiler because it's easier to haul the food, but when camping near town and I have lots of meat to cook, the grill works perfect. I am able to adjust temps to cook however I want and when the fat drips down, it also heats up the flame. After cooking the stove cooks itself clean as a whistle and packs up in seconds. I only wish there was an attachment to place my camping pan on it and cook. Maybe that will come out in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful eco friendly stove I was skeptical about this stove. I bought the bundle which came with the grill and kettle. I love it and I've only fired it up a couple times. Boils water in a couple minutes (faster than a normal camp stove) and heat is even on grill. It is rather heavy and requires constant upkeep on twigs, etc. buy one!

Is this product waterproof?

Asked by: ern1776
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, this stove and the accessories are not waterproof - specifically the orange fan that houses the USB ports. Please don't hate me.
